David "The
Rock" Nelson demonstrates
his hypnotic abilities.
Mr. Nelson, a master of
improvisational gorilla theater and existential filmmaking,
astounded
audiences with a tour de force performance
that would have delighted Sartre, Camus, and
other Left Bank radicals. Mr. Nelson's rapid
stream-of-consciousness presentation was not
unlike certain passages of James Joyce, and opened an unexpected
vista onto the often chaotic
processes of artistic creativity.
I've posted these pages just hours
after returning from the Monster Bash, and they
only capture a few of the highlights. Keep checking back, and
