There are no problems with the statement of the real dates of original recordings from this time anymore. The tape circulating as Antibes 68 or Antibes 20 July 68 of over 100 min. lenght is in fact a combination of 21 and 24 July performances.
In the recent years a few bootlegs with these recordings surfaced. The quality of these recordings (which in fact come from 22.07, not 21.07 as stated on them) is mediocre. There are uch more better, crisp versions in circulation. Also: both dates have been recorded with the cameras for the French TV. They are also in private circulation.

3. Pharoah Sanders/Alice Coltrane - ANTIBES 68/NEW YORK 71 - THE RADIO BROADCASTS - Fat Alberts Bag – FAJB007CD (wrong titles of the Pharoah Sanders section of the disc)

All 3 editions come from the one source of mediocre quality. As stated above - there are much better versions in circultation. For collectors only :)

The exact date is unknown. The Latin Jazz Quintet with Juan Amalbert as a leader is the same Latin Jazz Quintet that recorded 2 dates with Dolphy in the beginning of the 60s. And this sound!! It's a very large quintet, of course.
