Since 1991, Predator Conservation Alliance has worked to conserve and restore ecosystem integrity by protecting predators and their habitats.   Predator Project is unique because they are the only organization focusing on groups of predators dependant upon similar ecosystems in the northern Great Plains and Rockies.

They advocate on the behalf of the Grizzly Bear, Wolf, Lynx, Wolverine, Fisher, Marten, Black-footed Ferret, Swift Fox, Burrowing Owl, Coyote, Mountain Lion and Black Bear.  Of these, nine are imperiled.  They also work on behalf of important prey species, such as Prairie Dogs, Elk, and certain Fish, because these animals provide predators with the necessary food and/or habitat.
