Go out the window in the bar into the back alley. Look
up and to see two fire escapes. Climb onto the dumpster and get
onto the fire escape opposite the bar first, then jump up to the
pipes and go hand over hand to the other fire escape. Be careful,
because two terrorists will run out to shoot half way across the
pipe. After taking care of them, drop down onto the fire escape
and open the box for the grenade launcher. This makes the grenade
thrower in the subway section much easier to handle.

Go to the opposite end of the subway after it explodes.
Use the flashlight on the left of the tracks to find the C-4.
Get the C-4, then go to the right hand side. Look up to see the

the top is reached. This is the only way to exit the lower level.

Find the card keys to get through the gates in the
museum. Check all the guards and people that are killed; they
usually carry card keys. For the gate in the Rocket Room, shoot
the control panel on the third level that keeps sparking while

Hint: Room 1-3:
To open room 1-3, you first have to open the door of
the room to the left of the elevator by switching the switch to
the right of the elevator. That room contains a computer. Approach
the computer and press Triangle. The door to room 1-3 should
begin to open. You must kill three terrorists before entering
room 1-3. Each has a flak jacket and will throw grenades. Turn
right to hide behind the boxes immediately upon entering the room.
The terrorists cannot shoot or use grenades because of the boxes.
Be careful, as there is an open space between the boxes. Use that
space to throw a single gas grenade at the terrorists. Used correctly,
the single grenade should kill all three of the terrorists. Wait
for the gas to clear, then explore the room. Search the spaces
that resemble lockers, and do not forget the flak jackets.

In level 10, Base Tower, you hear Lian Xing being
taken away by Rhoemer over Gabe's earpiece. Then, when you defeat
the helicopter that Rhoemer sends, a FMV sequence will show Gabe
jumping off the tower and will reveal that Lian Xing has been
killed. Once level 11, Base Escape, starts, shoot the very first
fuel tank that appears. Lian Xing will say ''Gabe, check your
fire! If that fuel tank goes the whole place will blow up"

Leave from the door you just opened and go to your left, head into the maze. Go left always in the maze unless your only option is to go right. When you get to the back of the maze you will see a brick wall, look down the hall and you will see two openings. Take the first opening to the right and fall into the hole. Then go to the end of the hall and jump out, push the button on the wall and you will see a cinema of the door opening back in the house. This door is timed, so you have to be fast.
Go back the way you came in, jump out of the hole and go left. Then keep following the maze turning right everytime unless you have to turn left. Exit the maze at the end and run back into the house and through the door. It leads to the basement below, where you'll you will see several chests and windows on each side. It looks like a huge statue is on the right.

there are two bookcases to the right. Approach the one on the
left and press Action. Lara will pull a book and the fire
will extinguish, allowing her to climb up the side wall inside
the fireplace. After reaching the top, follow the passageways
until reaching a room with two levels, with a lever on the top
level. Pull the block that is on the floor towards the lever.
When Lara pulls the switch, the basement door will temporarily
open. Quickly run through the attic, and down to the main hall
to reach the basement. Once in the basement, walk through to the
second room and look in the tank on the right side. Inside are
keys to the race course. To collect it, pull the block in the
other room to the center. Climbing up to that hall leads to the
tank. Then, proceed out of the attic. Do not go back down the
fireplace, as it has been re-lit.

This set of tricks requires a lot of practice. Plus
you will need to balance yourself out at least once while grinding.
When heading toward the steps near the fountain (which is faced
when starting in two player mode), do a fastplant, and do a special
grind on the far left of the second or third step that is parallel
to you. Make sure you are going to the right. Immediately after
grinding, jump again, do a trick, and land with a special grind
on the third step. Then, jump to the right with a trick, land
with a special grind on a step going diagonal, and just hold Triangle.
You will go forward and then grind on a lower step in front of
you. You will then be going in the same direction as when starting
(to your left). There should now be a step above you and in front
of you. Before you hit it, jump, do a trick, and land with a special
grind. You should now be going to the left. Immediately after
you grind, jump, do a trick and land again with a special grind.
Then jump to your left with a trick, and land with a special grind
on the lower step (there are two steps, a top one, and a lower
one). There is a turn going to the left in front of you. Do not
turn. Jump off before you turn, holding down Forward, do
a trick in the air, and once again land with a special grind on
the step a little bit higher than the one you were on. Right after
you get on the step, jump, do a trick, and special grind again.
You should now be going pretty fast. When at the end of the grind,
jump off to the left, and special grind the step in front of you.
When on this small step, you should see a small wall in front
of you. Before you reach the wall, jump up and special grind it.
Go the entire distance until you reach a wall, then jump off with
a trick going to your right. This completes the set of moves.
You should get somewhere about 200,000 points for it. Just keep
doing this trick until you run out of time. This should allow
you to get 800,000 points in the level.

At the very beginning of the San Francisco level, if you go straight
ahead you will come upon a small ramp in front of Lombard Street.
There is also a series of multi-level ledges high above the street
(they have moss around their edges). Launch from the far left
edge of the small ramp and aim yourself so you can start grinding
on the mossy ledge above the street. While in the air, do a 540º
Kickflip to Indy. Then, start a Crooked Grind on the ledge you
land on. At the end of this ledge, jump and do a 360º Impossible
to a 360 Shove-it. If you jumped right, you should now be landing
on the lowest of the mossy ledges (which then takes a left turn).
Start a Smith Grind on this ledge, and continue to grind around
the corner. While grinding, you will run into a "bonus"
100 points. Just before you collect this, jump and do a special
grind for the rest of the ledge. When you reach the end of the
grind, jump and do a 360º Hardflip to a Rocket Air (or a
Varial to a Rocket Air, depending on your skater). You will and
near the halfpipe. This combo, if done correctly, is worth about
65,000 points.

Go to the part where you can go up the small tunnel
in the side of a building that leads to the roofs. Go in, break
the glass, and try to do the player's special grind onto the little
bar. Jump up to the next one and do the special grind again. Jump
up to the final bar and do another special grind. Jump off the
last one with a finishing 360 spin and you should get more than
20,000 points.

Hint: Extra points in Warehouse:
High above the quarter pipe that runs along one of
the walls, you will see a short rail that you can grind on. Ollie
up from the quarter pipe onto this rail. Do a Heelflip into a
Smith Grind. You should get a "blue lettered bonus"
called "High Rail". After grinding the entire "high
rail", do a 360 Impossible and then start doing a Special
Grind on the quarter pipe lip that you will land on. You will
now be heading for a rail that is before the halfpipe, next to
some boxes. From your grind do a 180 Shove-It to another Special
Grind. You should now get a "blue lettered bonus" called
"Monster Grind". Finally, while jumping into the halfpipe,
do a 540 360-Flip to a Benihanna (or a Front-Foot Impossible to
a Benihanna, depending on the skater). This whole combo, if done
properly, can be worth 89,000 or more points.

Go down the amp with the "secret room". Jump through
the secret room while doing a Back Flip (Up, Down,
Circle). After that, try to get a finishing Kick Flip to
collect approximately 10,000 points.

When you start out, go to the far left corner and jump up the
ramp that is slightly to the right of the pool. Go between the
rail and the ramps and run along the wall. When you get close
to the quarter-pipe, turn left and grind as fast as possible on
the edge. Execute a channel gap over to the next quarter-pipe,
then execute another one. When you jump the second time, hold
Down/Right + Triangle until reaching the wall to
do a Smith Grind. Right after you hit the wall, jump and do a
wall ride to the half-pipe and grind there. Jump off and do a
360 Shove it. As much as 29,000 points can be made with this set
of tricks.

Get enough speed to launch yourself over the pipe, and go through
the secret room. Make sure you get "Over the Pipe" and
"Secret Room" points. Across the pipe there is a rail
on an uprising. Try to land on the rail after doing a special
trick through the pipe. This requires an average amount of accuracy.
Once on the rail, Grind and Ollie off onto the coping of the ramp
in front of you. Try to go all the way around room while doing
different grinds to get points. For example, use Geoff Riley and
do a Backflip and then land on the rails doing a Darkslide and
continue doing 5-0's and Smith Grinds.

Hint: Extra points in Downhill Jam:
Note: You may want to practice this trick in free skate
mode before using it in career mode. Go near the end of The Downhill
Jam in Phoenix, where you get the letter "E" or where
you turn on the fifth valve. There should be a quarter pipe right
before you go down the steep hill. Go back and forth in the quarter
pipe until you reach your maximum air time (works best with full
stats). The right side of the quarter pipecuts off and looks like
a triangle. Go as far right of that triangle as possible but still
hit it. As soon as you go up, do a 360 Shove It (Up + Square).
When you get near the rail, do a grind. The Nosegrind works best
since you are still using the up arrow. Balance yourself to the
end of the rail. At the end the words "Elec Gas Co. Rail"
will appear in blue. At this point, jump off and immediately do
another 360 Shove Itinto an Impossible (Down + Square).
If done correctly, you should be lined up with the rail below.
This grind will be tricky. Do another Nosegrind and try to balance
yourself as quickly as possible. Your skater will be at a 45 degree
angle as soon as he starts to grind. Grind until the finish and
do the last trick, another 360 Shove It at the finish. This can
result in almost 76,000 points.

Select Geoff Rowley and begin the Downhill Jam level. Do any moves
within a minute, then go towards the end of the stage. Once you
get to where the grind rail for the E in that level, go back and
forth until you get enough air as normal for the grind. When you
get enough air, do these tricks in the following order: Backflip
(Up, Down, Circle/Grab), Grind (will likely
be a BS Boardslide from how you land), then do a little hop and
do the Darkslide (Left, Right, Triangle/Grind).
Once you get to the near end of the rail, jump and do another
Backflip, then Grind on the next pole below (which may be hard
to land). Then, Grind that as long as you can, jump off, and do
a quick Impossible (Down + Square/Boardflip ). If
done correctly, this will result in a trick worth about 60,000+
points. If you Ollie/Nollie before you do the backflip, you can
get from 90,000 to 120,000 points. To get an easy 10,000 points,
backflip over the water gap (with two grind bars over it) at the
beginning of the stage.

Use the following steps to get a huge spin. Everyone knows that
it is possible to pull off huge spins with the "Slow Motion"
code, but the following trick allows a 1440º to be done the
old-fashioned way. Grind across the long rail that has a valve
on top of it. This will lead you to aquarter pipe that has the
"A" for the SKATE tape. Launch off this ramp at full
speed with a maxed-out skater somewhere between the middle and
the end. Start spinning and you will fall a long way until you
land near the bottom of the large halfpipe. If you started spinning
as soon as you jumped and if you timed your jump just right, you
can catch enough air to pull off a 1440º spin.

Hint: Extra points in School level:
Go in the first left turn down the steps. Then, go
to the wall on the far right. This is the wall which stands alone,
with graffiti all over it. Grind on the first/lower part then
quickly jump, do a Wall Ride, then jump again and try to grind.
If done correctly, your skater should now grind on top of the
wall. Although it only gets earns 5000+ points, it is an interesting
trick to try.

Begin game play in horse mode, with you in control
of player one. Hold L1 + L2 when player two's trick
is about to load to have him turn to the left, and R1 +
R2 for your opponent to face to the right. This is especially
useful during the first level when you need to be in line with

Hint: Jake's glitch:
This glitch will allow you to float in the air. To
do it, go to the San Francisco level. At the start, go to your
right, then right again and go up a disabled ramp. Turn left and
head towards a mini-wall with some stairs to the left. Turn right
and you should be facing another mini-wall. Go up to it and turn
right so that you are in the corner between the mini-wall and
a building. Deckslide the mini-wall. If done correctly, you will
fall a bit and then float. You can do as many tricks as desired.
This may take some practice to get it to work correctly.

Glitch: School level:
There is a glitch in the School level that allows you
to float in the air. Right at the beginning, after the roof, there
should be a wall straight ahead of you with a ramp that leads
up to it. You need to wall ride up this wall, then Ollie over
the gap to the roof of the gymnasium. Grind along the roof of
the gymnasium in the direction you face when the level begins.
At the end of the roof, the rail appears to end in mid air. You
just keep grinding, and will go around a turn. Soon, the grind
will stop and you will be floating. You can stay up here for as
long as you wish, but do not press Grind or you will fall
and stay floating. The only way to get out of this glitch is to
retry the level.

Glitch: Downhill Jam level:
Find the place in the Downhill Jam level where you
can go up a wall that are ramps, where you get the "E"
for the skate tape. Go up the small white triangle-shaped object
right at the beginning of that wall, on the right side. You will
need to hold Up to get back down. If needed, unplug the
controller, then plug it back into the port and try again.

At the beginning of the level, go down the hill then turn left.
Jump on the second from the last arrow on the quarter-pipe next
to the wall on the left. It is a lot easier to do a fastplant
up on it. You have to jump over the ramp. You will get stuck in
