today at jurong... wah... hot man whenever i step out of the dept to the toilet or canteen...

hmm very dusty with all the industrial pollution... aiyoh... wonder how the people survive here...

should have this mask thingy for everyone to put on once they arrive boon lay area at the industrial area. really very polluted... sometimes when the bus pass the trucks, it's so hard to breathe. choking at times. unless u take note n then control yr breathing. if the polluted air comes n one takes in a deep breathe then congratulations liao...

haha the choco smell is still around. it smells nicer here. more like proper choco unlike in ntu it smells like burnt choco... that ain't very nice then...

my sup(boss) at site, back only in the afternoon. then big boss dunno go where leh. i went to canteen to get lunch then he disappeared liao. maybe out for lunch bah... my big big boss also out for lunch liao... only left geok eng, serene n me...

my big big boss,he's called Cham Teck Kuang. So far I did not get to talk to him at all cos' he's a big busy man... but can see he is very friendly like... dunno leh.. those quiet n sensitive man i would describe.

my big boss- Lim Seng Huat (different surname from dad but sounds the same. daddy's full name is Wong Sin Huat.) , heee he comb his hair all the way to the back... i din really notice him when i started off at jurong cos i shy mah n he gave me an impression... dun disturb me feeling... so i siam lor... now i keep noticing him... heee look at him reminds me of shanghai territory that period... waaaaaa.... heeee must wear those neck scarf n hat then more alike...heeee

now lastly my boss - Darren Tan... very very nice guy i will say... so far din bully me b4. din scold me b4 too... but i also din bully him as far as i can remember. =) he's now officially part of Soxal's family. now he's a busy guy. last time only go ang mo kio site for safety. now he runs about the sites to check n then report to the headoffice here in the afternoon to do admin stuff...

Geok Eng... dunno her surname. caller geok eng... she's a refine lady i would describe. very gentle speaking n friendly lady... erm... but she talks very softly... heee... at times when she call for me, she has to call me a few times before i know that she called for me...

Serene is the draftsperson. She's more lively. I envy her skill. draftsperson must have this wide view to imagine how things work or going to work n have them drawn in proportionate size n location. fantastic!

got some more collegues but no one intro leh... so sad..
the office here is usually quiet then when i do typing, it goes tak tak tak tak tak. then i just hope the sound dun irritate anyone. maybe tom i bring a cd to play classical music...
in the morning, i tried to make the office livelier. when geok eng n serene came to office, i greeted them... but later got ppl enter without me knowing then i din greet liao...
notice they dun really communicate among themselves or greet each other or shake hands.
maybe different places got different style. but one thing i like is that they call each other by name instead of surname. i dun like calling ppl by surnames, so stranger like... yucks...

today was a calm day so far. no news of my punishment. I have no idea what is going on. but just remain as i am back here in AMK.

luckily i was back in office when i went out to central to get some drinks.
today was slightly quiet for me. i kept a low profile incase things blow up. stayed in office all the time. see if anyone needs help, do some admin stuff etc.
hope things will calm down and get better each day...

Weather inside: Stormy grey skies

today i was very excited that my prof is coming to visit me at my work site. first time leh... hee... i got excited when i receive a call from robin also same sup, that our prof is coming over to my site soon. journey will take abt 25-30 mins. so at 1100, i went out to the guard house to meet my prof. i saw a taxi... must be him. i ran to the taxi and walk him into my office site.
I was so excited to let him know what i had been doing here at stm... though it ain't very great, but it is to be.. an experience. being too enthu, i brought him to places i should not bring him to. I got scolded and complained by the ST incharge. Very unlucky. He's very fierce and said would complain to my managing director and he really did. he complained till my whole head quarters know about it. i felt so guilty. i know the worst case scenerio is that i will be fired by my co and my results for sure will be affected. I was upset for sure... i felt guilty.

weather: fine
today both my newphews are coming over... heee the 2 cute chubby twins... hmmm must control myself cannot smile too much or open mouth too much later make the stitch bad.. heeeeeeeeeee

3rd day liao... felt better... the gums are harder or i think it's starting to heal the stitches aren't as painful as before. i took 2 bananas n ate quite an amount of soft food... hungry hungry hungry...

surprise of the day: i ate potong ice cream at night... simply lovely... heee... can't bite but can lick... heeeee...

7 APRIL 2004 WEDNESDAY
2nd day since i had my tooth removed. it hurts... uable to open my mouth properly for it shifts thestitches as i move. so i stayed on with soft food like mash potatoes... hee by the late afternoon... i got tempted with the lolly pop that i bought... and i can't control by taking one. i took me a very long time to finish it but i felt happy after that... hee though i was unable to pop the whole thing in, i was satisfied to lick it... heee...

Today 6 APRIL 2004
I walked over to katong shopping centre with mum for my dental appointment at 10am.
I went over n soon I was told to enter. My usual dentist will operat on me and I felt safer cos I was told that my op will be done by dr Voo? and I had the impression that my doc was dr chow instead. Anyway my doc and her assistance sat beside me and told me that she will be giving me a jab. I was worried. I was the jab. It so very long really long. Different from the ones I had when I had a normal extraction of my wisdom tooth at the top of the gum. This time was really long like about 5cm? the needle was thin and the equipment was really long. With the metal handle that look like a normal stringe but it?s not round but rectangulish. Dunno how to describe it.
Then my doc told me I can close my eyes. Of course I close lah. Then I was holding tight to my pnik pounch that I brought along into the room. After the first jab. I was like ouch? the needle went in and my heart paused for the moment. After it was out, I continue to breath. I had 2 jabs. Then I opened my mouth. Then my doc came out or duno what so I opened my mouth. Then I saw she turned back with another stringe. I was like ?!?! then she tap on me and told me to close my eyes. No choice lor. She told me had to have all the jabs at a go then no need to later take jab in the middle? no choice? I was so frighten.
Ok after about 5 mins, I saw the clock was 1015. she and her assistance came in and told me that we going to start the operation now. Then I remain lying. Then she asked if I feel numb. I said yah I felt numb in the right side. Then she started. Think she got lots of equipments, but I closed my eyes all the time. I was scared and I dun wan to see the things that she use. Confirm got a knife, 1 drill or saw, 1 plucker. Cos I felt the doc like cutting something. Guess it was my gum? cos it was like up and down up and down and in in in that manner. And I rem I saw a wisdom tooth removed, the tooth was cu into 2 for easy removal. So I guess she was cutting my gum to reveal my hidden wisdom tooth beneath my gum. Then l just close my eyes. Dun wanna think of anything.
Next I heard something I din wanna hear? some sawing sound. It was like drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr? horrible horrible horrible? I was frighten off my wits and I was shivering? then I felt my eyes wet. The doc told me no need worry? and asked if my mouth felt tired then can rest for 5 mins?. Who wants to rest for 5 mins??!?! Of cos wanna chop chop finish it up mah. So I said I was ok. Then I wiped off my tears and they continue? again drrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr?? yik yik yik? I was shivering and I felt that I wasn?t lying on the chair anymore. My bum was off the seat. I was like pressing hard on my head and my feet. So scared that I wanna run off man? but soon I hear they turn on music and I felt so much better? cos before hand it was solely that sawing/drilling sound and the suction sound?
It took a very long time. One time I felt the doc put her hand into my jaw and was pulling out something hard. I know she was pulling out the tooth. Then I heard. So cute?. Then she said the tooth had a little root. I was like open my eyes a little then I closed it again. It was not over. She continued to drill/ saw/ cut? yik yik yik? at tmes I was wondering how long it wil take cos it?s so long and I already feeling tired with my bum off the seat. I tried to rest my bum but the next thing when I felt anything in my mouth, my bum just got up again. Think the dr had a hard time. She said to her assistance that seldom had cases where the root was removed yet the crown aint?s out yet. Then later she continue to saw with the tiny equipment and soon it was out.
Nightmare ain?t over. The sewing part. I had a total of 4 stitches. I hate the feeling of the thread when it was on my face. It was like. Yik yik yik? get it off me. Sew it fast but dun let me feel the thread mah? it took quite some time before it was over. Finally over.
She signaled me and then I opened my eyes and cleaned my tears. It was 1115 already. I saw the cloth that was covering my blood? yuck yuck . I went out to sit at the reception. Mum was already there. I took my medicines and waited for 30 mins. The dr. need to check on my results. Soon 30 mins was up and the doc checked on me. And soon I was allowed to leave. We walked back. I can tlak properly for my right side was numb. By the time we reached home, I realized that I forgot to get the mc from the dr. then mum n dad went down to get the mc for me. I took a shower and went to rest. I changed my bloody gauge every 30 mins. Till abot 1pm, I stopped and went to zzz. In the meanwhile saliva was flowing down continuously for my tongue was slightly numb and can?t control the saliva.
I woke up at 5pm. And took my medidine. The numbness had disappeared and I had a tiring feeling. I went back to rest again. This I cant fall asleep so I just rest till 6pm I went to watch tv downstairs? then I watched butterfly effect. at about 8-9pm, I fet pain. I felt the sore in my mouth. I had problem opening my mouth for the numbness was gone and and movement will shift my gum and mt stitches will move.

today i waited 10 mins at the security guard house just to change my pass.
1 i/c for 1 pass or 1 foreign pass for 1 pass. yet i have to wait for so long.
i hate tat young new inexperience indian chap. today i queued for 10 mins flat under the sun then when it's my turn, he told me to queue up. i told him i queued up. then he gave me the form to fill up my name. i filled up, took my pass n just threw the list back to him. idiot. jerk, bastard... if i could, i would scream the hell off when i'm back in office. but it would alarm everyone thinking wat had happened.
i'm going to give my suggestions to the security incharge here. at ang mo kio industrial park 2 STmicroelectronics.
horrible horrible horrible.
poor management. early morning so many ppl queueing yet only 1 person handling everthing. can't they assign 2 ppl so that things are faster? hoirrible horrible horrible.
i dread seeing that stupid, young, inexperience, indian chap. thinks that he's in fashion and wear a black those knitted hat. so ugly on his head.

today my sup left for J2 to hand in the safety awards for checking n then later hand in to MOM personally.
I'm left in ang mo kio... hee no need to travel there. then i do my report here lor. later 11 will be joining my collegues to site to view the pipings done.
