Caolts at Titans

Both The Colts and The Titans played a foolish last minute drive, nevertheless The Colts Defense prevailed!

With The Colts on top 22 to 20 at the two minute warning of The Game, one would think it's an easy win, simply use Addai to run the ball and at the same time run down the clock. Manning had another alternative. Manning decided to pass the ball, twice. Twice he threw incomplete. Manning appeared to go again for a pass as he was sacked instead and Colts ended up having to punt. Turning over the ball to the Titans with way more than enough time to execute and score for the winning touchdown or even a field goal, as what the development looked to be as Titans drove down the field. With the Titans sitting on The Colts 45 yard line and 25 seconds left in the game, Vince Young threw 2 incomplete passes to Jones. Fourth down and 15 seconds left in the game, one would think it's an easy win, simply bring out Bironas, who won the game last year in 2006 with a 60 yard field goal. Fisher had another alternative. "Anytime the ball's in Vince Young's hands, everyone feels like we're going to win the game," Titans defensive end Kyle Vanden Bosch said. "We were just waiting for something magical to happen."

HUH! NO MAGIC HERE, CURSED MORE LIKE IT,
The curse of Bob Sanders and Dwight Freeney and a whole flock of other Colts Defensive Players!!!

With 15 seconds left on 4th down and 4 to go for a first, Titans went for it as they were instantaneously swarmed by The Colts Defense. Defensive tackle Darrel Reid crashed into the backfield. Left end Josh Thomas pushed hard. Young was in trouble, as he was engulfed by Colts Defensive Players he searched frantically for an option. He tried at first to run,  Middle linebacker Gary Brackett knifed in and clamped his legs; when trapped, Young lateraled desperately to left guard Jacob Bell as the play got even wilder . . .

. . . Linebacker Tyjuan Hagler flew at Jacob Bell, who in turn panicked, bobbled and pitched to . . .

. . .to Colts' Left Tackle, Darryl Reid.

Reid had the football at the Tennessee 38.

The clock read 0:04.

GAME OVER!

For a 22-20 victory in front of a raucous 69,143 crowd at LP Field as The Defending Champion Indianapolis Colts (2-0) reminded Tennessee which team remains atop the AFC South.

Cheating Pats
Mood:  irritated

So it has been proven that The New England Patriots do cheat as I have claimed in the past. Surely everybody is aware of what I am talking about; The Pats filming opponents (JETS) hand signals. For an update,
New England Patriots

 Accused of Illegal Spying

Check out ESPN for more details

UPDATED September 11, 2007

Goodell determines

Pats broke rules by taping Jets' signals

Check out ESPN for more details

Goodell is considering severe sanctions, including the possibility of docking the Patriots "multiple draft picks"

Bullshit! There has got to be more repercussions than that. What about the fact that The Jets have to go with a loss on the books after it has been reveled that The Patriots cheated in order to win. Win? The Patriots did not win, they cheated the fucking system. They went against The NFL Rules.

There should either be a re-match or The Jets should get The “W” in the books and The Patriots get the BIG “L” in the books.

Here’s a reprimand, eliminate them from playing in The Playoffs.

The New Orleans Saints got an old fashioned Horse Whoopin'!
Mood:  celebratory

After intermission and shaking off a sluggish first half, the Indianapolis Colts opened their regular season looking better than ever as they mauled a highly-respected New Orleans Saints team in the second half to register a 41-10 victory in front of a national audience Thursday night to secure their third straight win in a season opener.
The New Orleans Saints hardly knew what hit them, except that it was excruciating.
In the process, the defending World Champions put the rest of the league on notice that they shouldn't expect to see a post-Super Bowl slump from this team.

Sorgi OVER King
Mood:  down
Topic: Indianapolis Colts
Why in the hell did we let King go and keep a no good, criipled backup QB Sorgi!?
King, who played extensively in the four preseason games. Has completed 44-of-71 passes for 563 yards with two touchdowns. His yardage total was the third-highest in the league. YET . . . .
Colts feel Sorgi is the better man.
OH!
If Sorgi can not perform - Colts are prepared to pick up veteran Kelly Holcomb?
BILL - TONY What are we doing?

Monday Night Football
ABC Bids Farewell to Monday Night Football
If you were ready for some football, it was the place to be for 35 seasons on Monday nights.
Tonight, the NFL bids farewell to ABC, with the New England Patriots playing the New York Jets.
The second longest-running series on network TV shifts to ESPN beginning next season.
The series began in 1970, with Keith Jackson handling the play-by-play.
ESPN is paying about $1.1 billion over eight seasons for the Monday night contract.

Generic Fans - Colts don't need you
Mood:  blue
This was the the start of an Indy Star column:

How bad was it during the first half today at the RCA Dome? A smattering of the home crowd booed the undefeated Indianapolis Colts.
By Phil Richards
Indy Star

Which just pisses me off!!!!
This whole damn city pisses me off. Last year in 2004, The Colts were making a name for themselves; breaking records, etc. Colts fans began to appear from out of the woodwork.

The 2005 season began and with the Colts first 3 games the Offense was having a little slump, even though The Colts won those three games - you out of the woodwork Colts Fans were booing and talking smack about The Colts. Then ever since the first Titans game The Colts Offense came around and you fans came back. Next thing you know Indianapolis Colts are 11 and 0 and a whole bunch of you jumped in on the Colts Fan Wagon - The whole damn city is hyped!!!!! Now, now that they lost to the Chargers, all you new found Colts Fans are booing The Colts. Our Colts don't need fans like you!

COLTS DEFENSE - Still Strong
I can not see how people are saying that The Colts Defense sucked in the Bengal’s game! Number one, Freeney was tripled teamed!!!! Let’s see, on Bengal’s first drive COLTS DEFENSE held them to a field goal. Second and third drive, well? Bengal’s 4th drive COLTS DEFENSE made them have to punt. Bengal’s 5th drive COLTS DEFENSE held them to another field goal. Colts OFFENSE on their following possession while instead of running down the clock, decides to pass ending up getting intercepted resulting in a Bengal’s score. Bengal’s next drive, well? Bengal’s next drive, they try for a 4th and 1 as COLTS DEFENSE prevents them in doing so as they turn over the ball. Bengal’s next drive, rookie Corner Back, Marlin Jackson intercepts Palmers pass. Bengals next drive COLTS DEFENSE holds them on a fourth and 4 again they turn the ball over. Bengal’s next drive COLTS DEFENSE holds them to a field goal. I think they did a damn good job against an offense that is 5th in the NFL!

Patriots got an ass whoopin
Mood:  celebratory
I can not believe all the crap that is being said about -
"Colts should know better than to think they've proven anything."

"Because those weren't the Patriots."

"They wore Patriots jerseys, but defensively bore no resemblance to their Manning-devouring predecessors."

What a bunch of sore *^%$#* Losers!
