It started raining again and we decided to send Carol/TX cheese. We went everywhere looking for a place that would send it. But it was the wrong time of the year. No one would. And Carol had told us moldy cheese was not acceptable. LMBO.
Judy took us to a cheese factory where Scott and I proceeded to spend VERY big bucks for a lot of cheese! We bought all the cheese curds there and Scott bought all of the horseradish cheese spread he could get his hands on. YUCK!!! We were hungry and decided to stop for lunch. Judy knew of a great place to stop. It was named Woodies. Perfect since that is what Carol/TX and a few others call me on the Boma. Sigh, it was under new ownership and not called Woodies anymore. We really wanted to get a picture of me under the sign. But the food was great!!!
After realizing that cheese to Carol/TX wasn't possible and we had eaten lunch, we decide to go gambling at the casino. I am a cheapskate and want to play the dime machines. But during our stay there each of us won enough to share with the others. Hands full of coins were dropped into our cup by Scott, Judy or I. I finally put a dollar in the slot machine and won fifty dollars, which I lost. LOL Scott had cashed out and so I decided to do the same thing. Scott found Judy and told her that we had cashed out and were ready to go. While talking to him she had turned away from the slot machine and while she meant to spin, for a $1.00 bet she hit maximum bet which was $3.00 and wound up winning $450.00!!!! Good going Judy!!! And Scott her lucky charm. LOL I ended up loosing $1.00, Scott $10.00 and well Judy! LOL Judy now considers Scott a good luck charm!
It had stopped raining when we left so Judy gave us a sight seeing tour that was soooo beautiful!! She took us on beautiful roads and parks. She knows that area like the back of her hand! Which is great since we didn't have to rely on all the standard tourist spots but got to see the most wonderful places WI has to offer. I was surprised by the wildlife. In Iowa the deer come out at dusk. In WI they are out all the time. Every bend in the road it seemed like we saw some grazing in broad daylight.

The deer.
we saw so many of them.

Wisconsin has many of these rock walls. Wild turkeys.
