After a beautiful sightseeing trip our tummy's were grumbling once again. We decide to go to the former Woodies again, where we had a wonderful and filling supper.
Judy had told me about this new hotel called the Kalahari, which was done in an African theme. I wanted to go, oh so badly!! I know all the others were tired and just wanted to go back to Judy's, but I begged to see it!! So off we went to the Dell's to see the new hotel. Wow!! It was beautiful!The pictures and the sculptures where so beautiful! We went into the guest shop and Judy fell in love with a bed that had been sculptured in an African theme. Hold on to your hearts men. She will marry anyone who will buy it for her at the price of $9,000 dollars. LOL I bought a little buddy for the hippo that sits on my desk next to my computer.
There was the most beautiful fireplace!! It was carved with all kinds of African animals. The elephant being the main design on the top. I wish my camera would have worked better. I got a picture but it doesn't do it justice. Here are the Kalahari hotel pictures.
