Judy had given me directions to her house. As we got closer, I got out the directions she gave me. She warned us about a curve in the road and to go very slow. I told Scott about this and he, like every man didn't believe me. That curve should have had a stop sign and a left turn. What a wicked turn that was!!!
The directions Judy gave us were perfect and we finally arrived at her house. She came out of the door with a camera pointed at me!! After many hugs and welcomes we went inside and got to know each other better. We all got along wonderfully from the start.
Her home is warm and welcoming. Her two cats were loving and sweet.
We decided to go to a restaurant that had a fish special on Friday night. After a short trip we were there. I had to try to conceal my peeking at the TV. Nascar was doing qualifying at the time. LOL
After supper Judy took us on a short sightseeing tour. The country in WI is so beautiful.
We went back to Judy's to enjoy our time together. I got on the Boma and decided to have a good time. No matter what I said she wasn't drunk and the cops didn't come. LOL There was no streaking in the cemetery either!!! Although the cemetery was right across the street. Dad's van had no "bummer" damage. LOL Judy B/C. I didn't even notice the typo and Mom filled me in when I got home. :) I knew Mom was lurking on the Boma. LMBO My brother and Judy were telling me what to say to get Mom to post. And it worked!!!! LOL
Judy showed me her pictures of her time in Africa. They were wonderful!!! Right down to the picture of the one eyed lion. Then it was off to sleep.
The next morning broke with us talking about our plans for the day.First stop was my favorite road side park. I know, what kind of weirdo has a favorite road side park?? This weirdo does. My mother and I took a trip to WI when I was 16. We stopped at this rest area and my breath was taken away by the beauty. You could see for what seemed forever. The little dairy farms were nestled in the valley with their bright red barns. In Iowa most of the farmers are letting their barns fall in heaps and are putting up metal buildings for storage. Thank goodness WI still seems to take very good care of their barns. When I think of WI I have always thought of those beautiful barns. Unfortunately it was very hazy that day and the side of the road that was always my very favorite had overgrown with trees in the years since I last saw it. But the view from the other side of the road was beautiful. And a very short distance from her home.

The view from the park

Scott stopped by on the way
home when it was sunny.
Another view.

The real Scott!
Notice the resemblance from
