Flight Crew History

In season '97, the Flight Crew existed merely in the minds of a few. An idea discussed online by a few Barnstormer fans. 

In season '98, the idea had gathered more steam and more minds. What would come to be known, in the future, as the Flight Crew, met outside the Barn, before a game. An interesting assortment of fans - the pigs, the stogiemen, Barnstormer Billy and some 'normal' folk as well! By Mid-season, the fan club was gathering for away games. The fan club was attracting attention in the lobby, before each home game.

1998 Board members: Courtney Glenn, Jeff Badger, Matt Benjamin, Bob Allen, Tony Ashby, Don Tope, John Sorbo and Rich Youds.

Before season '99, Courtney, Jeff and Rick met with Jim Foster, Frank Nogle & Rob Johnson. After presenting our club and outlining our goals, they made us the Official Fan Club of the Iowa Barnstormers!

1999 Board members: Courtney - President, Jeff - VP & newsletter editor, Tony - graphics designer, Don - events coordinator, John - web site editor, Rick, Matt & Bob assisted.
