U.S. Army Hospital Ship Algonquin

This webpage is dedicated to honor the memory of all who served aboard the US Army Hospital Ship (USAHS) and US Army Transport (USAT) Algonquin during World War II.  This site also honors the ship, crewmembers, the US Army Medical Personnel, Army Nurses, and Doctors of the 203rd Hospital Compliment, the patients, and later war brides who either served or sailed aboard the USAHS/AT Algonquin during World War II

This website is specifically dedicated to honor the memory of my father, James Harrie Wilkerson, 3rd Officer, USAHS Algonquin, April 1944 until June 1946.  James Wilkerson died in September 1994.  Unfortunately, I never ask him about his service aboard the Algonquin.  I wish that I had.
