Rose and I have been friends for all of my adult life and for a few years before adulthood. We both attended Chicago State Teachers College, our husbands, at one time, were in business together, and our children have grown up together. Rose is, for me, a special blessing from God, and I am very grateful for her friendship.
Rose arrived the day of the housewarming.
