Bad news, good news:

The bad news is that I'm in a really bad way at work. Its not entirely a surprise since the work I'm doing in the milestone is so ambitious, but I'm embarassingly behind schedule and with annual reviews coming up I'm getting pretty a'scared. This will be a tough couple of weeks.

The good news is that I've started seeing a really fabulous girl: she's completly together, beautiful, intelligent and fun. I know that those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it so I'm trying to balance my enthusiam with realism and a little caution. She's easy to talk to, a pleasure to be with, and definitly has some natural dancing aptitiude. I guess we'll just take it a little slow (since with my schedule we have no choice), and maybe this patience thing will pay off. :-)

Mom, Dad, and an old college friend of mine are all in town this week. Its going to be quite the marathon trying to do everything I need and want to, but I'm excited. At least lfe isn't dull!
