Every day I think of you
and wonder what thing I can do
to let you know you're in my heart
even if we're far apart,
because you are my friend, you see.
And good friends we will always be.
Remember, all down through the years
I'm here to share your joy or tears.
In good times we can laugh and play.
In sad times we can kneel and pray.
We'll tell our Father up above,
who watches over us with love,
the things we feel deep down inside.
Our God will lovingly provide
a way to know He's our best friend.
A friend who's love will never end.
