These little guys went to
adoption days almost every week for months! No one was
interested! I couldn't believe it. Here I had three of
the most loving, delightful little creatures I've ever
seen and not a permanent home in sight! I was very
disappointed. When you do rescue, you are always
very anxious about placing the babies in your care. When
you've got a house full of fosters impatience
occassionally rears it's head too. These guys were so
special that I was impatient for them to find good
permanent homes. I learned a lesson here-all good things
come to those who wait!

Dusty & Sammy on a play
date!
|
Dusty was the first to go.
*cry-sob* He found a wonderful home with Erin, who's
roommate adopted Peter
and is a friend of the person who adopted Sammy.
Dusty now lives in Illinois where Erin is working toward
her masters degree. I receive regular reports and am
always thrilled to hear how well he is doing. |
Mr. Tiddles was next
*moan-more tears* My friend Donna agreed to keep Mr. T
while I was at Woodstock in 1999. He was not old enough
to be neutered yet and was frisking around with another
female I had who was not yet old enough to be spayed.
When Donna's daughter, Kate, and Mr. T saw each other it
was love at first sight. Mr. T went for a visit and found
his lifetime home. |

Katie.

Gidget (bottom) & Meisha
|
Gidget was the last to
leave. *I will never recover* She was adopted by a friend
of a friend and now shares her life with Meisha. They are
great pals and she is in the most loving of homes. |
I have had a lot of cats
in my life, but I don't ever think I will come across
another litter like these guys. I don't know who their
mother or father were, but they had to be something
really special to have created Dusty, Gidget and Mr.
Tiddles. |
