Tip 02: MONDO COOL LIGHT BURST (Photoshop 6 ONLY !)

Step 1:
New RGB document.
Set Foreground color = black.
Use Type tool type some text (72 point or more)
Go to Layer Menu---->Rasterize---->Type
Hold Control key, click on type layer in Layers palette (Selection Type)
Select Menu ----> Save ---> click OK
Step 2:
Deselect your type.
Switch foreground color to white.
Edit Menu---->Fill--->(In Fill: mode = Multifly)---->click OK
Filter Menu--->Blur---->Gaussian Blur = 2.5 pixels. ----> click OK
Step 3:
Filter Menu --->Stylize--->Solarize.
Press Shift-Control-L to run auto levels (brightening the image)
Make a copy of current layer (in Layers Palette)
Step 4:
Filter Menu--->Distort--->Pola Coordinates (check Pola to rectangular)--->
click OK
(this step make your type very bad . But don't cry baby :-) Let's move on !)
Step 5:
Image Menu--->Rotate Canvas (choose 90 degree CW)
Press Control-I (invert your image)
Filter Menu--->Stylize--->choose Wind
Step 6:
Wind dialog box appears --->choose Wind in Method and From the Left for Derection
Click ok.
Press Control-F two time (twice) (total 3 times wind effect in step 6)
Step 7:
Press Control I (invert image again)
Press Shift-Control-L (to run auto levels)
Press Control-F three time to run wind filter 3 more times.
Image Menu--->Rotate Canvas--->90 degree CCW
Filter Menu--->Distort--->Pola Coordinates.
Step 8:
Pola Coordinate dialog box appears--->Choose "Rectangular to Pola"
---> click OK
Change the layer mode from Normal to Screen
Step 9:
Create new layer
Gradient---> choose the Violet-Orange gradient
Drag Gradient tool through this layer
Change the blend mode from Normal to Color
Press Control-I (invert the color to Green and Blue)
Step 10:
Layers Palette--->click Type layer Copy
Filter Menu--->Blur--->Radial Blur. In the dialog box, choose Zoom, increase
Amount to 100---> click OK
Now click on your original type layer
Select Menu--->Load selection--->choose Alpha 1 ---> click OK
Press "d" to set foreground to black color
Press Alt-Backspace to fill color
Press Control-D to deselect.
