Our seats at the Louise Mandrell
Show gave us a great vantage point as you'll notice from this
shot.
It was possibly the best show of its kind that I've ever attended
and can certainly be
recommended for families. On Sunday mornings she has a praise and
worship service in her theatre
for anyone who can attend ...... free of charge.

Here we are ..... the celebrities
..... Girls With Grandmother Faces, as we posed in the lobby
after the
Louise Mandrell Show on Thursday night. Yes, Louise Mandrell
recognized us from the stage and asked us to stand.
She introduced us as the "Girls With Grandmother Faces who
graduated from Carson-Newman College 50 years ago ....
here on their annual Spring Fling." ....... You can be
sure we took appropriate bows to the applause!

We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast in
a bright, sunny dining area each morning.

Caught in action? Well, you decide
.... but looks to me like Wanda, with a satisfied smile
on her face, is about to whomp Mattie out of her peaceful reverie!

And .... a fond farewell? Wait ...
no, it's "hi ho silver!" How did Mary Ann get in here?
Oh, I forgot. She had an early preview of Eight Gables when she
visited there
with some of the planning group. She was so impressed that she
said, "Go to it, girls!"
(She and Joe were at C-N at the time where he was honored as a
Distinguished Alumnus.)
