A very beautiful person has passed away. She was my Aunt and I loved her. When we visited her, she always happy to see us and I think she was content and comfortable in her surroundings for the past many years and for that we should all be grateful. My hope is that this page will make our family feel unified in the fact that we had Elsie in our lives. She would have wanted it that way. Nobody should feel guilty or think that they should have done more. Everyone has their own limit of what they can and cannot do and their own personal reasons for doing or not doing certain things. God reached down Saturday, April 28, 2007 and gently took her home where she will forever be in peace and free of pain. She’s free now…free to sing with the angels.
The cello solo that you're listening to is being played by Jacqueline du Pré. Died far too young at 42 of MS. We are all so much more than the illness or scars we carry.
"You’ll Never Walk Alone"
R. Rodgers and O. Hammerstein II
When you walk through the storm
Walk on, through the wind
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart
May God Bless you Aunt Elsie and may He grant you eternal peace.
Hold your head up high
And don't be afraid of the dark
At the end of the storm
There's a golden sky
And the sweet silver song of the lark
Walk on, through the rain
Though your dreams be tossed and blown
Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone
And you'll never walk alone
You'll never walk alone
