After the last stream crossing the trail climbed steadly but not tiring. At one point we came to a section of trail that had washed away after a big tree gave way and fell into the stream. Here Kenji, looks up where the trail should have been.
We cut up and to the left to go around the wash out. The next picture looks back to where the trail should have been, and the third at the tree that probably once held the trail and hillside.
