Going down the other side we found ourselves in a bamboo forest and cut walking sticks with the help of Bill's handy dandy saw.
After passing thru the bamboo we climbed another small ridge and decended again into a bamboo forest. The trail then went up a bit and around the end of a low ridge and we came to Waianu Stream which had to be crossed.
