Onward we climbed, leaving the wash outs behind we found lots of guava and some natives.  We wacked the guava as we walked.  Around 12 o'clock I thought I found a nice place for lunch, but Bill said we should go on a little higher.  At 12:25 p.m. we found a nice flat topped pu`u with some small natives to shade us.  There was a nice breeze to cool our heated bodies.  Talking with Gordon, who was way behind, we found that although he was not feeling up to par he was ok and would turn back after eating lunch at a lower elevation.

Lunch over and refreshed we took off first down and then up a slope covered in Uluhe.  In the following pictures I was in the middle of the group shooting first down then up.
