Somewhere around 1 1/2 miles in it began to rain hard with a strong wind but it only lasted a few minutes.  From then on we pretty much walked in the clouds with rain coming along off and on but not lasting long.

This is the summit clearing.  I was so surprised to see Dayle and Ed there.  I'd of thought they were on the Wiliwilinui Summit by now.  Its 11:08 a.m. it took me 3 hours to reach the summit.  My altimeter said 2300 feet, my GPS said 2665, and the map says 2587.  The altimeter is affected by the barometer which for sure dropped with the weather and it should have read low.  I set it at the trail head to 240' which I took off the maps.
