About Martin County Right to LifeWe are located in southern Indiana and we love them both- the mother and the baby. Our goal is to inform and educate, offer alternatives to abortion such as adoption, and to provide items, such as clothing and diapers, that the mother will need for her baby. The funds our local organization raises goes to the Pregnancy Care Center in Washington, Open Arms Christian Ministries, Indiana Right to Life, and anyone else who may need our assistance. These funds are raised mainly through our monthly paper drives and through annual membership drives. We also welcome donations. Our paper drives are held the first Saturday of every month at the Martin County Recycling Center. We accept newspapers and aluminum cans. If you are unable to come on Saturday, you may bring your papers and cans any other time. Just say you want them donated to Martin County Right to Life and they will put them in our box.The Pregnancy Care Center is located on 120 East Main Street in Washington. Their phone number is 812-257-1041 or in an emergency 1-800-524-1056.

A Small Group Doing Great Things!
We have a wonderful group of volunteers that are ready to help when called. Every year we have a booth at our County Fair, at the Catfish Festival, at the Kids First Fair, and at Relay for Life. At our booths, we have lots of information to pass out...brochures, bumper stickers, precious feet pins, and balloons for the kids! We also have the phone number available for the Pregnancy Care Center, an ultrasound video and at our County 4-H Fair we hold a Babies are Beautiful contest. Some of us attend the March for Life in Washington DC in January. In October our friends at Daviess County Right to Life hold a banquet with yummy food and terrific speakers. **Daviess County Right to Life is holding their annual banquet on Thursday, October 2 at 6:30pm at the Ruritan Building in Montgomery. The speaker this year is Dr. J.C. Willke, President of Life Issues Institute. For more information and tickets, call 257-1041 and ask for Pamela.** We have just started writing articles for our church cluster newsletter. Click here to go to our articles page. |
