"The Man and His Two Lovers"
Once
there was an aging man with two lovers. One was similar to him in age and
the other was quite a bit younger. The man whose hair was beginning to
gray would split his time equally between his two girlfriends so as to treat
them fairly. When he went to visit the older of the two she thought that
he looked much younger than she did. She didn't like this so she proceeded
to pull out some of the darker hairs on his head.
Next the man went to see the
younger of the two who did not like the fact that he was beginning to look older
by the day. So she proceeded to pluck out all of the gray hair to make him
look younger. Soon the man had no hair left on his head.

"He who gives into others' wants will
have no principles of his own."
