In some places the road is all dirt, and in others grass freely grows. Notice the Wai`anae mountains in the background. The flat topped tree is an Albizza
Around 950 the trail leveled out and entered a small eucalyptus forest.
Back a few months ago when I first checked out this trail I spotted a black rabbit on the road in the forest.
