Instructions

I created these rules based on other well-run Sailor Moon RPGs in hopes to have the RPG work in an orderly fasion.

The Game Master

In short, the Game Master is here to keep things in order. In case you didn't know, the Game Mater is Unseen. Unseen's word is law in the RPG. If you have any complaints or whatever, they should be directed towards her. The GM will not take sides, and in conflicts will just be a mediator.

If you wish to have some say in the matter of how things are run, there is two jobs available to anyone who is willing to help, you dont have to do these jobs but we appreciate if you do. It is also great if you just keep your eye out unofficially.

Heres the jobs:

Public Relations Officer: Duties include handling questions about the game from both current and prospective members as well as working to advertise the game on search engines and by asking players and other webpages to put up links to the TOOLRPG webpage.

Participation Manager: Makes sure all players have played recently and have not dumped any fics they have chosen to participate in without reason.

Responsibilities of Members

1.Members are expected to conduct themselves in a acceptable manner at all times.

2.To be considered a member in good standing, the player must follow the rules, use commong sense, and not start any fights with other memebers.

Procedure

Any member may nominate a player for promotion. If necessary, the Participation Monitor or Game Master then checks the participation of the player in question. If this is acceptable, the GM has a period of 2 weeks to decide.

Termination

Before a player can be kicked out, demoted, or promoted in the RPG there must be a decision by the GM and there must be ample reason for the actions.

other Rules

Refusal: You are permitted to refuse to participate in any story. You do not have to give a reason if you don't wish, but giving a reason is highly recommended. To refuse, simply tell Unseen saying that you will not be participating. Just note that if you do this excessively without good reason or without sufficient participation in other stories, you may be in danger of being kicked from the RPG.

Warnings: Warnings are like strikes in baseball-- to many and you will be kicked from the RPG. You receive warnings for the violation of certain rules. For example, if someone reports you for not sending a story back in time, you will get a warning unless you can prove your innocence.

E-mail addresses: If an e-mail provider is found to be exceptionally unreliable, players using addresses from that provider will be asked to change and new players using that provider will not be accepted into the game.

In addition, each player must have his or her own e-mail address; there is no sharing of addresses permitted, except in extraordinary conditions and only with the GM's approval. If you would like an e-mail address, try one of the websites below. Most offer free internet mail services (I personally reccomend Hotmail): NetAddress | YahooMail | Hotmail | MailCity | Excite | Lycos | Angelfire

You can get a email address from hotmail at: http://www.hotmail.com. You can get an Angelfire email at: http://email.angelfire.com You can get Yahoo at: http://www.yahoo.com

Mail to the group: NO CHAIN LETTERS!!! The punishment for sending another member will be severe! Chainletters are basicaly letters which warn you bad luck if you do not pass them on. DONT SEND THEM. The purpose of this is not to get emails to send chainletters to.

Replies: When sending an RPG to someone, please erase or try to avoid those annoying little >'s that some e-mail programs use to mark replies.

Content Rules: These rules have to do with what stories can contain.

Language: Try not to use racial or sexist slurs. You don't have to be "politically correct" or anything, just be careful. You never know who you're going to offend. Please go easy on the bad language, dont do more than is neccecary.

Sexual content: No hentai or "on-screen" sexual scenes. The farthest you are allowed to go "on-screen" is kissing, snuggling, and maybe a little touching. Implying something further is okay, but if you go into too much detail, it won't be allowed. This is supposed to be an 13+ game. But I still ask that you shouldn’t do any Hentai material (Plus, our website host would probably kick us off if we put hentai material up!!)

Plot: ANYTHING is allowed to happen, just so long as the other players involved approve. If you are planning an extensive storyline, please just go over it with the GM to make sure it will not conflict with the stories of any other players.

Violence: Let's face it-- Sailor Senshi are fighters. There are really no limitations on violence. Use your own good judgments (if you have them) in this matter.

Other Basic Things

RPGs are to be written in the past tense and third person style. ie: Sailor moon walked passed the house instead of Sailor Moon walks pass the house. *Try to be kinda detailed!*

When you start an rpg, other characters have five days to join in it, then you may tell them that as they havn't participated, they are disqualified from it.

The rules are basic and simple. Just keep on following them and have fun. If you break too many rules, or break them too often, you may be dropped entirely from the game, so be careful...
