Character Rules
These rules have to do with what you can and cannot do
with your character or with other people's characters. Don't worry, a separate Geocities rules and application page is being built.
No God Moding!
I just have to go over this, the one thing that will never ever be accepted is an invincible character. If it sounds like your character cannot be beat and will win every fight, say bye bye! This sucks royally for everyone else, so let other people win a little too!
Characters From the SailorMoon Anime or Manga: A player can request to
play just about any character from the Sailormoon manga and anime. If the
character was a very minor character, you may be asked to explain what you intend
to do with him or her, and possibly write a speculative history of the character. Certain really powerfull characters will be given restrictions or not be allowed to play.
Characters From Other Anime or Manga: Characters from other animes or mangas will
be considered, but it is highly unlikely that they will be chosen.
Making Changes to an Original Character: As the player of a
character, you are permitted to make changes to your character as long as they are
within reason and the GM approves.
Please avoid from using another characters base of powers for yours (ex. using
Senshi of Fire for your character when it's Mars already) Thanks!
Creating a Player Character (PC) or Non-player characters (NPC's): When
creating an NPC, the same rules apply as when you are creating a new player
character, unless the NPC is a civilian character (has no powers), such as your
character's family members, friends, etc., or a "monster of the episode"
youma/daimon/etc. Any NPC villain or hero should be approved by the GM in the
same manner as a character for play or adoption.
The following apply to creating a new player character (whether for yourself to play or
for adoption) or an NPC:
If you plan on creating a Sailor Senshi, we have made a list of Sailor
Senshi names that have already been used in the RPG, and we ask that you
please review that page. here for geocities angelfire here
Warrior characters are allowed, so are 'masters'.
Using Your Special Powers: Do not attack another character just because you
wanted their position. These types of actions may get you kicked off
But you can, of course, use your attacks on a bad guy being used, so long as there
is a reason(ex. someone is being attacked by the bad guy).
"Clones" and identities of other characters: Your character cannot be a clone
of other characters. You can't be Sailor V, Neo Queen Serenity, the Moon Princess,
Prince Endymion, Moonlight Knight, etc if they are being played.... Each player can
play any identity that his or her character goes by. For example: if someone is playing
Minako, that would include all of Minako’s forms(Sailor Venus, Sailor V, etc).
Animals: Guardians, such as Luna, Artemis and Diana, or other animals belong to
the character they are 'assigned'. For example, Usagi controls Luna, Mina plays
Artemis, Chibi-Usa gets Diana, etc. If you create a character that has a guardian
animal, don't be to surprised if we say no to the animal... the cats especially have been
overdone. Ordinary pets without speech capabilities are fine, though, and mulitple
ordinary pets are allowed(use your judgement on this subject).
Playing multiple characters: You can be one character to begin, afterward (if your good) you might be able to get more than
one character with the permission of the GM, (you can try for more than one char each
time you are promoted). There may be some special exceptions but it is *highly* unlikely.
Other characters can make cameos for the story's sake though; for
example you may write stories using a villain you created that has been approved by the
council, as long as you do not cause conflicts with anyone else's stories and the villian is
only temporary. The only time when you are permitted to play more than one character
is if you are filling in for another player if he or she asks you to while they are away (i.e.
on vacation, e-mail not working, etc), and only with the approval of the Council.
Changing characters: You MAY change characters, but keep three things in
mind. First, you must finish any and all stories featuring your character before you
change. You may refuse to participate in any new stories, but you must finish any
existing one. Second, note that not all fanfic characters will be accepted, so if you
want to change to a character you have created, your new character may not be
accepted. Third, if you change characters too often, you may be demoted or put on
probation, and if it happens to often even after warnings possibly kicked out. Plus, new
characters are apllied to the same rules as creating any original.
Relationships between characters: We have no problems with players creating
relationships that never existed in the anime/manga. Friendships should be mutually agreed
upon between the two players. Your character can like someone else without their
permission. For them to like you back, however, is up to them.
To Get Started
All you need to do is fill out the following form and send it to my email at the bottom of the page with the subject 'application'
to apply for a character. In a few days(we need time to decide) we will send you the application for your character or send you a email
informing you that something was unacceptable and you were not accepted (unlikely though).
Be *Detailed* in your writing sample and make it real good! The better your writing sample is, the more likely you will be accepted!
