The RD models went into production in 1973, ending the R5 series. The RD350 (1974 model shown above) came with a 6 gear transmission and also reed valves...as opposed to the piston ported R5. The aircooled RD250s and 350s were built from 73-75 and were then replaced by the 400cc models.
