What being a Christian is all about . . .

Romans 3:23 - For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God

2 Kings 14:6 - each is to die for his own sins

Romans 6:23 - For the wages of sin is death . . .

BUT . . .

Isaiah 30:18 - The Lord longs to be gracious to you; he rises to show compassion

Exodus 36:4 - The Lord, the Lord, the compassionate and gracious God, slow to anger, abounding in love and faithfulness, maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion, and sin.

SO . . .

Ephesians 2:4 - because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive in Christ even though we were dead in transgressions

John 3:16-17 - For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Romans 6:23 - . . . but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord.

THEREFORE . . .

Acts 10:43 - All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.

Colossians 1:21-22 - Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds. But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation.

2 Corinthians 5:17 - Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old is gone, the new is come!

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS . . .

Romans 10:9 - That if you confess with your mouth "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised his from the dead, you will be saved.

Isaiah 45:22 - Turn to me and be saved, all you ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other

2 Corinthians 6:1 - I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation

Romans 10:13 - Everyone who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.
