Introduction
- Ask students if they have ever been in a storm where there was lightening. Discuss feelings (fear, excitement, etc.) during that time & why.
- Tell students we are going to read a book about a trip into an electrical storm.
Sequence of Instruction
- Read the book as a class.
Closure
- Discuss the book. What did students learn? Would they like to go on a trip like that? Etc.
