I Can Never Stop Loving You
My world is empty now it seem's,
gone are all my hopes and dreams.
You were my life and now your'e gone,
As I am left here to carry on.
I never thought it would be this way,
I thought you'd be here every single day.
But the Lord in Heaven, made other plans,
On the day we were suppose to exchange our wedding
bands.
The church was filled with friends on every pew,
the pastor and our families all waiting too.
I was dressed in my lovely lace white gown,
waiting for my father to come and walk me down.
The door came open as I turned to see,
My mother crying and coming right toward me.
She said, sit down, I've something to say,
I knew something was wrong as I started to silently pray.
My heart was empty, my body fell weak,
the tears so heavy,I just couldn't speak.
That was a year ago today,
And I have been lonely every step of the way.
But you are still a part of me,
In my heart as you'll forever be.
Even though we never got to say 'I do',
I CAN NEVER STOP LOVING YOU.
