Alexis stared at her sister, "Summer?" She squeaked out nervously.
"Hmm?" She asked half-listening, too busy with the plan unfolding in her mind's eye.
"Summer, what are you planning on doing?" She questioned looking around the room almost full of the other fans.
Summer looked up at her and smiled slyly, "Why, whatever do you mean, dear sister?" She queried innocently.
Alexis groaned and slapped her forehead. "You got the camera?" She asked sighing.
Giggling, she removed the tiny camera from her small pack. "Never leave home without it." She stated grinning.
"I just know we are never going to forget this encounter." She muttered taking the camera from Summer and crossing her arms in front her.
   Summer laughed, "Never." She added.
"So are you going to tell me what happened back there?" She asked when Hanson and their bodyguards started walking in.
She shook her head, "Not yet." She answered as she eyed the three brothers. Anger evident in her eyes. "Come on." She said grabbing her sister's hand and pulling them into the line that was quickly forming to meet the trio.
"Oh, God." Alexis murmured just knowing something bad was going to happen.

Zac focused intently on the fan's voices. Isaac and Taylor had him standing in between them, to help him out with which direction the fan was coming from.
His head followed the voices that would stand before him for a minute or two, and he'd hold his hand out, and the fan would reach for it. Making hiding his blindness an almost simple task to complete.
"Hello, Zac." The acid like voice was impossible to deny.
"Hi." He murmured uncomfortably, shifting his feet.
"Having a good time?" She asked through clenched teeth.
He swallowed hard. "Yeah." He croaked out, before clearing his voice. "Yeah." He answered again.
   "Well?" Summer asked coldly.
"Well, what?" Zac asked curiously, raising his head slightly.
"Can't you even shake your fan's hand?" She questioned sharply.
"Umm," Zac fumbled nervously, raising a shaking hand.
It was then Summer noticed how nervous he was, and when she finally looked him right in the eye, she saw too, that he wasn't really looking at her. More like… through her.
An involuntary shudder racked through her and she grabbed his hand and shook it quickly before walking away. Ignoring Taylor as she went and waited for her sister to come a minute later.
"What's wrong with you?" She whispered loudly.
Summer shook her head, and looked intently at Zac and watched him carefully talk with the rest of the fans in the line.
She could see the defensive stance he was taking, the hand he would occasionally raise, and the way his head would move when someone else would talk.
"Remember Aunt Jeannie?" She asked curiously. "And the way she would look… just like right through us?"
Alexis smiled fondly at the thought of their blind aunt, "Yeah."
Summer slowly started to nod her head; "Zac looked at me just like that." She confessed quietly.
   "Funny." Alexis said dryly.
"I'm serious." Summer said shaking her head. "Watch him for a second."
Giving her a 'whatever' look, Alexis turned to watch Zac. "What?" She asked
"Watch him." She said insistently. "The way his head keeps moving to everyone's voices. Or when two people speak at the same time. Watch him as he turns to look at them."
"Oh, my God." Alexis whispered softly.
She saw it… saw how Zac looked through them all, saw how Taylor and Isaac was helping him greet the fans, and saw how his eyes were blank… unseeing.
"How long has he been blind?" She asked weakly.
Summer only shook her head again. "I don't know." She murmured, still in shock at the discovery that their favorite band's drummer was… blind?
"Well, what are we going to do?" Alexis asked shaking her sister's arm.
"Like I know!" Summer said defensively. "What are we supposed to do?" She questioned. "Obviously they're all trying hard not to let it be known to the whole world!" She snapped.
Alexis stared at her for a second, before they both went back to looking at Zac.
"I wonder how it happened." Summer said whispered quietly, more to herself, than to her sister. I just wonder.
