"God, I hate planes." Dahven mumbled to herself as she handed the lady behind the counter her ticket.
 : "Charm?" The lady asked.
Dahven stared at her for a moment. "Yeah?"
"It's me." She said smiling brightly.
"I'm happy for you." She answered, looking the lady over. "Really, I am." She shook her head, "Who's me?"
Her smile fading fast she murmured, "Essence."
Dahven's eyes bugged out. "Wow! Essence, y-you've changed." She managed to get out over her shock. The dark long hair now short and light and her green eyes blue, she marveled in the change. "How have you been?"
Essence beamed. "Well, I'm fine. My life isn't like it was when I lived at your house, but I do okay by myself and my mother calls once in a while to check up on me."
Dahven looked her over. It had only been about two weeks since she and Arie had divorced and she moved out. But her belly seemed to have grown just a little bit bigger since then too.
"Umm, Es. You aren't umm…well.... you can't be...." Dahven traveled off not wanting to finish her sentence, or the thoughts in her head.
Essence's smile widened. "Pregnant?" She asked.
Dahven just nodded her head. Almost wincing at the word.
"Yes, I am." She glowed proudly.
"Is it umm...is it..." Dahven traveled off again.
"Arie's?" Essence questioned. She laughed at Dahven's inability to talk straight from her shock.
Recovering her senses, Dahven straightened. "Yes, is the child Arie's?"
Essence was silent for a moment. "Yes. Arie is the daddy."
"Oh, my God." She muttered, placing her hand on her forehead. "Does he know?"
"Yes." Essence replied hurtfully.
"And?" Dahven asked as she removed her hand from her forehead. Her eyes showed how bone tired she was.
"And what?" Essence asked as she looked at her confused.
"Well, what is he planning on doing?" Dahven asked getting a little peeved because she wasn't told about the baby. This was her niece or nephew! She was going to be an aunt!
"Well, he is going to pay child support." Essence said shrugging.
"Flight three-twenty-five non-stop flight to New York is now boarding at gate three." A voice stated loudly over the intercom.
"That's your flight." Essence said quietly.
"And this conversation will be discussed some more." Dahven said seriously as she went over to gate three. She looked back at Essence and anger coiled inside her like a snake and when she got back she would strike Arie.
"You're not got going to believe this." Dahven stated to Isaac as she settled down on his hotel room with Zac and Taylor.
"Generally this is supposed to start out with saying, 'hi.' " Zac informed grinning.
"What happened?" Taylor asked curiously, rolling his eyes and ignoring Zac's comment.
"Hi." Dahven replied automatically, "Essence is pregnant."
Her head was beginning to hurt from all the thinking she had been doing on this whole Essence and the pregnancy thing.
"What?!" Isaac asked in shock. "How'd that happen?"
Taylor wrinkled his nose, "Probably in the usual way, Ike." He commented dryly.
She nodded bleakly. "She's pregnant. It's Arie's. He knows about it. And all he is doing is going to do is pay child support."
"Well, at least he knows and he's paying child support. It's not much, grant you, but it is something, Charm." Zac said quietly, trying to comfort Dahven a little.
Dahven looked at him and smiled. "Thanks Zac, but Arie has a responsibility with this child. And there is no way in hell that I am going to let him get off without a fight."
Isaac put his arm around her shoulders. "It'll work out. I know it will."
Dahven snuggled up to him. "I'm just so tired of everything being thrown at me. And me not being able to catch it." She said yawning.
Holding her a little tighter Isaac kissed her forehead. "It'll work out, I promise." He whispered. "Just get some sleep."
Closing her eyes for a moment, Dahven nodded and relaxed.
Getting up and stretching a few minutes later, Dahven shook her head as she saw the sunshine peeking through the blue curtains. "Hmmm." She moaned as she sat up.
Looking around and saw Isaac on the couch and Taylor and Zac in their own beds. She smiled at Isaac before lying back down.
He was sleeping peacefully and had a small smile on his lips.
She watched him as he slept and fell into a small daydream. So caught up in it, she didn't realize that when he woke up he started staring at her too.
"Mornin'." He said softly when she turned to look at him again.
Smiling, Dahven rubbed her cheek against the soft pillow under her head. "You could've woken me up so that you could have had your bed." She said whispering so that they wouldn't wake up Taylor and Zac.
He smiled back at her. "But you were so peaceful looking and all. And I didn't want to disturb you."
"You are too sweet sometimes." She murmured as she slowly lifted herself off the bed.
Sitting up on the couch, Isaac made room for her to sit next to him. He wrapped the blankets around him and her and encircled his arms around her.
Smiling, Dahven leaned up against him. "This is nice." She said quietly. "I think I'm addicted to this."
Isaac nodded his head slowly and laughed lightly. "It is addicting. I miss this, D. We haven't done this in sooo long." He whispered softly against her temple.
Placing her cheek on his chest, she breathed in deeply. She loved his scent and she loved him. She wrapped her arms around his waist and they just sat there. Not talking. Just relishing in the feeling that they were living and sharing at that moment.
And then it was shattered.
"Boys, it's time to get up." Mrs. Hanson called out as she opened the door that separated hers and Mr. Hanson's room from the guys'.
She smiled as Dahven quickly stood up and stumbled, nearly falling over.
She would've fallen if Isaac hadn't caught her arm and steadied her. He smiled and she blushed ever so slightly. "Morning, Miz Hanson." Dahven said as she tried to regain a little of her composure.
"Hello, Charm." Mrs. Hanson said smiling. "I missed you getting in yesterday."
Dahven went and hugged Mrs. Hanson. She loved her like she was her mother. Since she no longer had one. "I missed having everyone around." Dahven said as she stepped back.
Mr. Hanson stepped inside the room. He was holding Zoë in his arms and Jessica and Avery were holding onto his shirttails. "Ah, Charm. I didn't know you were up."
A blush slowly crept up Dahven's neck until it fanned out on her cheeks. She looked down to hide the stain. "Yeah, I'm up." She said quietly.
"Well, the boys have to get ready." Mrs. Hanson said as she went over to Taylor's bed and started to shake him awake.
He slowly stirred and Mrs. Hanson went over to Zac's bed and repeated the same process. Soon they guys were slowly and forcefully going around the room getting ready.
Dahven crept into her room and pulled out her laptop. And she signed on. Her luck was for her because Randy was on too.

Dahven signed off and smiled proudly. "I get to meet Randy." She sang to herself as she started to check her mail.
She downloaded Randy's file and then played it. She smiled at the words Randy was singing.
Candle light and soul forever. I dream of you and me together. Say you believe it. Free your mind of doubt and danger. Be for real don't be a stranger. We can achieve it, we can achieve it. Come a little bit closer baby. Get it on get it on. 'Cause tonight is the night. When two become one.
Taylor walked in with a weird look on his face. "Okay, now I know that I have never sang that song before. So how'd you get that?"
Dahven laughed and smiled slyly at him. "It's my little secret." She said before Taylor and his brothers had to go for their business trip of the day.
"I wanna know how you got that." Taylor called over his shoulder as he walked out the door.
Isaac gave her a small kiss on the cheek and they said their good-byes.
Dahven continued to play the wav file of Randy singing '2 become 1'. Laughing again each time she played it. Not because it was bad or anything, but because she did sound exactly like Taylor.
"They have got to meet." Dahven said as she got an evil glint in her eyes that mixed with the mischief that always lurked in them.
