Q: If you knew a woman who was pregnant and who had eight kids already. Three who were deaf, two who were blind, one mentally retarded, and she had syphilis; would you recommend that she have an abortion?

This seems to be a big topic. Has been for a while now actually, and I will finally say my complete piece on it.

ABORTION:

I am Catholic. Abortion is totally a big no no here. But I don't understand why anyone would kill a baby. Yeah, some have even said that "it's" not a baby yet... well, excuse me, did you take a different Science & Sex Ed. class than I did??? I know they have new classes out and all... but sheesh! All they did was word it nice and easy, I think just so that they'd sleep easier at night. Maybe to feel as if some baby's blood is not quite on their hands.

I figure, if you think you are old enough to have sex... well then you're old enough to take care of that baby. If you don't think you are, well here's a simple solution, DON'T HAVE SEX! *nods* Quite simple really. Or use contraceptives, huh?

Most for abortions are actually animal rights activists.... does someone see something wrong with this picture, other than me? "No! We can't kill that baby seal, but we can kill this human baby..." *shakes head* Don't think so. Save the humans, and try and save the animals. I don't believe in animal cruelty, but I am more against human cruelty.

One girl tried to convince me that we should abortion some babies. When was that power put into our hands? I then asked how you chose which baby deserved to live and die. Do you choose their names out of a hat? Or do eenie-meenie-mienni-moe? Perhaps one potato-two potato?

She had said that if we allowed too many babies to be born that the US would become over populated, and that we have to be unselfish and let others live. I don't know exactly where she lives... but I live in the desert, there is plenty of room here! Also, how can we be unselfish if we kill those babies? Aren't we saying, "kill them, not me" ?

As my closing thought I have to say, if you are thinking about abortioning a baby don't. I have another simple solution for you. Have the baby, and then kill yourself. At least you will have a choice.

I am not literally saying that you should kill yourself. Just trying to get you to think about what all the other options are. Besides, you may find that you've just saved a brilliant musician.
