My personal view on 'So This Is Life'
SO THIS IS LIFE:
We all cower, afraid to show certain feelings, fearing that they will be shoved back in our faces. We constantly say 'I love you' but many don't even know what it means to love. It's a reaction at times, when someone says it to us, why hurt their feelings, just say it in return. No, saying it in return and not meaning it is just as or more painful than not saying it all.
We want people to know who we are deep down inside, but run once someone finally shows interest. Often we lie, to show that we are good people. Letting someone into your heart and under your skin is a difficult process sometimes, and often one without great results.
We are all hypocrites, stating that what others do is wrong, yet find ourselves doing the same thing, but we pathetically give lame reason and say they did not have one. We all know we have our excuses and justifications. What is wrong for one, is wrong for all, there are no exceptions.
We blame the downfall of society on children, just as the people did before us. We blame them for their bad behavior, yet ignore the behavior of their parents. Why not, they don't do anything wrong. Sorry, but not true, a child lives what they learn. Both parents working two jobs can show a child they are not wanted, and often a burden. In retaliation, they really do make themselves burdens.
We're greedy and selfish, wanting everything to go our way, yet curse the luck of someone else who has better. Do we not realize someone else is doing the same thing to us when we have a case of good fortune?
We blame God when something goes wrong, but when something goes right we praise false idols. Have we gotten too blind to see that everything is connected to God?
We dream big and complain when they are not fulfilled in a matter of minutes, hours, or days. Wanting everything now, now, now. You do not deserve your dream if you did not work for it and earn it. Without doing either, you do not gain the sense of pride and success, therefor are not entitled to it.
This is life...
