TEENIES VS. FANS:
I dunno, it just seems that teenies out number us fans. And no, I do not label myself a teenie! Yes, I do have a fan-page. Yes, I do read, have, and write fan-fiction. But I do not go stalking anybody! I don't freak out and ditch the band when I discover one of the members has a girlfriend. Damn, it's their life, NOT YOURS! Get over it! It's not like you had a chance in the first place...
But some of you.... you just like bands for how they look. (Hanson, BSB, N*sync, 5ive, 98degrees, Moffatt's - I don't care which band you're ga-ga over) I mean, as if you automatically think that because they're good-looking, they're the best band in the world. But you won't like them, if someone cuter comes along, and they're no longer #1 and in the lime-light.
My God! How can you base music tastes on that?!
Music is what supposed to move the soul... To get you to relate to something... To get ya movin'.... or just to hit ya ear just right. It's not about, who's number one on the charts. Who's on TV all time. Who's getting all the media attention.
I have seen many Hanson fans turn... now it's cool, it's their decision. I just think a lot do it for the wrong reason. "Well, they're not releasing anything." Well, ya know, you shouldn't release multiple albums back to back. Hootie & The Blowfish did, and so did Spice Girls. Want them to end up just like them in over-kill???
Most artists' release albums every two to three years. That way they can do promo's, tours, and all that good crap without worrying about another album coming out. And they don't have to worry about over-kill.
Hanson is doing a great job on not going into over-kill. I do believe they've been out of the lime-light long enough to come back and kick some ass. And I would like to see them back on TV and maybe even get to a concert of theirs.
Also, it is rumored that Hanson's new album will be out in October...
