AJ runs up and screams, "We're here!"  Libby and Howie jump back from each other quickly and look up at AJ.

"Oh... um... sorry.  Did I interrupt something?"  AJ asks. Before they could answer, Nick and Brian go running after Sarah as she runs into the house.  I run behind them but AJ grabs me.

"You don't need to be running girl."  AJ says.

"Good grief.  I just want to have a little fun."  I say.

"Well, you'll have to wait to do that fun until after the babies are born."  AJ says.

"This whole pregnancy thing is a jipped deal."  I say frowning.

AJ kisses me on the cheek and smiles.  I finally smile; cause I know that it's not all that bad.

"You go on inside, I'll be with you in a minute."  AJ says.

"OK.  Lib, you wanna come with me?"  I ask.

"Sure."  Libby says getting up off the porch.  Libby and I walk into the house.

"Dude?  What's up with that?"  AJ asks as he sits down next to Howie.

"With What?"  Howie asks.

"With you and Libby?  Are you guys... well... getting in to each other?"  AJ asks.

"I don't know what to think.  I mean, I like Tiffany a lot.  But there's something about  Libby that catches my eye too."  Howie says.

"Well, no one says you have to settle down with just one of them.  You can always date you know.  Take Tiffany out one night; Libby out another night."  AJ says.

"Maybe I'll do that.  I mean, I know Libby likes me, at least I think she does."  Howie says.

"How?"  AJ says, "I'm not saying she doesn't like you bud, I just want to know what clues she gave you."

"Well, the near kiss was a really good give away.  And when I said something about someone not wanting to go out with me, she said they'd have to be crazy."  Howie says.

"Hmm... sounds good so far.  Why don't you ask her to go on a date with you or something?"  AJ says.

"What about Tiffany?"  Howie says.

"I don't think now is the right time for Tiffany to be asked out.  She's still dealing with Sammy's death."  AJ says.

"Yeah, you're right."  Howie says getting up off the porch. AJ stands up and they both walk into the house.
Inside the house we are all messing around and chasing each other.  Kevin and Shena had joined in the fun.  As I ran past AJ, he picked me up in his arms.

"AJ, gosh dang it!"  I yelled.

"Look, you don't need to be doing stuff like that."  AJ says.

"Haven't you seen Lethal Weapon 4?  The chic in there was pregnant and she was fighting off bad guys.  What's wrong with just running around?"  I ask.

"One, that's a movie.  Two, your in a more delicate condition."  AJ says as he sits down on the couch; with me still in his arms.

"You ruin all my fun you know that."  I say in a little kid voice.

"But I've always seemed to show you a good time."  AJ whispers to me. Just hearing him say those words gives me goose bumps.

"AJ... Shush."  I say.

"Come here."  AJ says as he moves my head close to his and kisses me.  Howie is watching us from across the room.  He thinks to himself:  'I wish I had that with someone.  I just want someone to hold, to kiss, to make them feel good, and to make happy.  Why can't I have that with someone?  I mean, Li...'

"Where are you?"  Libby asks Howie.

"Huh?  What?"  Howie asks as his thoughts are interrupted.

"Where are you?"  Libby asks.

"Well, right here."  Howie says.

"No, your not.  You're a million miles away."  Libby says smiling.

"Oh, well, I was just day dreaming."  Howie says.

"Oh."  Libby says looking across the room at AJ and I.  Howie notices she's looking at them, and says, "Aren't they cute?"

"Yeah, they're really lucky."  Libby says. Howie pauses for a little while, then finally says, "Hey Libby, I was wondering if you'd like to go on a date sometime."

Libby looks at him for a couple minutes and says, "Sure, I'd love to."

"How about tomorrow night?"  Howie says.

"That sounds good to me."  Libby says.

"Hey D!"  AJ yells from across the room. Howie looks up at him.

"Come here a minute."  AJ says.

"Will you excuse me?"  Howie asks Libby.

"Of course."  Libby says.

Howie walks over to AJ and me and asks, "What?"

"Well, did you ask her?"  AJ asks.

"Yeah."  Howie says.

"What did she say?"  I ask.

"We're going out tomorrow night."  Howie says.

"Yes!  Now I can go shopping with her!"  I say in excitement.
