Someone knocks on the front door.
"I got it!" Kevin yells as he runs to the door. He quickly opens the door and see Shena standing there. He throws his arms around her. After they hug for a long time, Kevin realizes that Libby, AJ, and I are standing behind her.
Laughing a little, Kevin says, "Oh, sorry guys, come on in." We all walk inside and take a seat. AJ sits next to me on the couch, Libby sits in the Lazy Boy, and Kevin sits next to Shena on the love seat.
"So...um... Suzy...how are you... um...doing?" Kevin asks slowly. AJ looks up at Kevin and thinks to himself, 'I don't think she knows.'
"I'm getting better I think." I say.
"That's good. I was really worried about you. And so was Howie; especially since you guys are like brother and sister." Kevin says.
"Where is my bro anyway? I kinda... need him." I say.
"He should be in his room.
He just came out of Tiffany's room cause she went to take a shower."
Kevin says.
I get up off the couch and
walk down the hall. I walk past the bathroom; I can hear the water
running. I walk further down the hall to Howie's room.
"Hey D." I say in a really soft voice. Howie jumps up from his desk and puts his arms around me.
"Oh sis, I'm so sorry. So sorry." Howie says sadly.
"That's OK D... really." I say hugging him back.
"I've been so worried about you hun." Howie says. I start to cry. I just can't keep feelings back from Howie.
"Just let it all out; you know you can cry in front of me." Howie says.
"Oh God Howie, she's gone. And I'll never get to say good-bye; she'll never get to see me get married; and she'll never get to see the babies." I say through my tears.
"Hun, maybe she will." Howie says.
"Huh?" I ask.
"Well, remember about Heaven and stuff. See, maybe all babies start out in Heaven before birth. So if that was true; she's met them before you. She's probably telling them about what a great mom they have." Howie says smiling.
"That's a sweet thought D." I say with a smile.
"And as far as her seeing you get married... I've been thinking about this. I heard Nick listening to a country song and it kind of fits." Howie says.
"What songs that?" I ask.
"It's called 'Holes in the Floor of Heaven.' It's a very pretty song." Howie says.
"I've heard that song. But it's been years. I can hardly remember the words." I say.
"Well, being the sweet heart
I am, I got the tape for you." Howie says smiling. He puts
the tape in the tape player and starts it.
One day shy of eight years old
My grandma passed away
I was a broken hearted little boy
Blowing out that birthday cake
And how I cried when the sky let go
With a cold and lonesome rain
Mama smiled said "Don't be sad child
Grandma's watching you today."Cause there's holes in the floor of heaven
And her tears are pouring down
That's how you know she's watchin
Wishing she could be here now
And sometimes if you're lonely
Just remember she can se
There's holes in the floor of heaven and
She's watchin over you and meSeasons come and seasons go
Nothin stays the same
I grew up, fell in love
Met a girl who took my name
Year by year we made a life
In this sleepy little town
I thought we'd grow old together
Lord I sure do miss her nowBut there's holes in the floor of heaven
And her tears are pouring down
That's how I know she's watchin
Wishin she could be here now
And sometimes when I'm lonely
I remember she can see
There's holes in the floor of heaven
And she's watchin over you and meWell my little girl's twenty-three
I walk her down the asile
It's a shame her mom can't be here now
To see her lovely smile
They throw the rice, I catch her eye
As the rain starts comin' down
She takes my hand says "Daddy don't be sad,
Cause I know Mama's watching now"And there's holes in the floor of heaven
And her tears are pourin down
That's how you know she watching
Wishin she could be here now
And sometimes when I'm lonely
I remember she can see
Yes there's holes in the floor of heaven
And she's watchin over you and meWatching over you and me
Watching over you and me
Watching over you and me
Tears began to run down
my face.
"I shouldn't have let you listen to that." Howie says sadly.
"No really... I'm glad you did." I say putting my hand on his.

-- Brian and Sarah --
Brian and Sarah are laying on a private spot on the beach. They are laying on a blanket. Brian is covered with the blanket. Then he puts his jacket over Sarah's body.
"I can't believe we just did that in public." Sarah says shyly.
"Well, it wasn't exactly public. It's not like we had an audience." Brian says laughing. Sarah laughs and kisses Brian.
"Making love to you... I've never felt more love in my life." Brian says.
"Me too. God Brian, it's like... like we were totally made for each other." Sarah says.
"We were Sarah. We were." Brain says. Brian lays on top of Sarah and starts kissing her again.
