(at the local mall)
"Skipper, I think you should get the black one; it's totally the bomb." I tell Tiffany.
"I don't know. I mean, it is pretty; but still." Tiffany says.
"But still nothing. I think you should get it too." Sarah says.
"I still don't know." Tiffany says.
"Oh come on girl; at least try it on." Shena says.
"OK, I'll try it on." Tiffany says taking the dress into the dressing room.
(At the hotel)
"See Skipper, aren't you glad we talked you into trying on that dress?" I ask Tiffany.
"Yeah I guess; I'm sure I could have spent a hundred and fifty dollars on something else though." Tiffany says with a smile.
"Oh don't worry about it. It's our last night out in Paris, you need to leave with a bang. I spent a hundred and fifty on my dress too." I say picking up my dark blue dress.
"But see, it's different with you." Tiffany says.
"How's that?" I ask.
"You...you...you have a man to dress up for." Tiffany says.
"Who knows girl; maybe soon you'll have a man to dress up for." I say winking at Tiffany.
"Oh be quiet." Tiffany says laughing.
(Later that night in the hotel lobby)
Sarah, Shena, Tiffany, and I walk out of the elevator and look at the guys. They all just stare with their eyes open wide.
"Wow." Nick says under his breath.
"You look beautiful." Kevin says walking up to Shena.
"Well, you don't look too bad yourself handsome." Shena says giving Kevin a kiss. Brian walks up the Sarah and looks her up and down.
"You look...you look like a goddess." Brian says.
"Gosh, now that's a nice complement." Sarah says. Tiffany and I walk up to AJ and Howie.
"Well, what do you think guys. Decked her out pretty good, huh?" I ask AJ and Howie.
"Yeah, she looks radiant." Howie says starring at Tiffany. I smile at AJ.
"Well, thank you Howie." Tiffany says blushing.
"Baby, you look terrific." I say to AJ.
"You look like a princess. That's what I'm going to call you from now on; my princess." AJ says kissing my cheek. I smile.
"Are we all ready?" Kevin asks.
"I think so. Let's go." Nick says heading out the door. When we all walk outside, I see a limo waiting to pick us up.
"Now this is living in luxury." Sarah says.
"Well, only the best for our girls." Brian says. We all get in the limo and take off.
(At a fancy French restaurant)
AJ pulls my chair out for me; then I sit down.
"Thanks love" I say and kiss him.
"Anything for my princess" AJ says sitting across from me.
"So everybody, this is a
no expense dinner, so order what you like, make the bill big cause our
management is paying" Kevin says and calls over a waiter by snapping his
fingers. ( that' Paris for ya ). So we order and have a wonderful
time talking about the engagement, the new love (Kevin and Shena ), Brian
and Sarah getting closer and closer.
Kevin taps the side of his
wine glass and stands up.
"I'd like to make a toast," Kevin says, "To AJ and Suzy. May God bless their marriage and the many children I know they'll have."
"I'll drink to that. I'm sure they'll have lots of kids. I mean, look, they can't keep their hands off each other." Howie says under his breath to Tiffany.
I throw him a sly little glare, smile, and mouth, "shut up." We all touch glass and drink.
(At a park in Paris)
"This couldn't have been a better night to spend our last night in Paris." Nick says.
"You said it Nick. Nothing could ruin this night." Kevin says. As we walk through the park we pass a garden of flowers. AJ picks a Lily and hands it to me.
"Aw, how sweet. And it's my favorite flower." I say smelling it. As we walk towards the street, I notice that I hear a bunch of guys yelling. I see a car coming down the road. Just as it gets close to us, someone pulls a gun out and shoots at us all. AJ grabs me and pulls me to the ground with him. Everyone hits the ground. The last thing I remember is thinking 'Oh God, why is this happening?'
