It was only 11 o'clock. Taylor and Lia and Zac were sitting in the "sitting area" of the Hanson's hotel suite playing Monopoly. Jordan and Avery and Jessica had collapsed on the couch shortly after dinner. Mac and Zoe had been put to bed at about the same time. And Isaac had gone and shut himself up in his room. He was worried about Jerry. She still hadn't called.

When the phone rang, Zac jumped up to get it.

"Hello?"

"Zac? Is that you?!" a voice chimed into the phone.

"Yeah. Jocelyn?"

"Oh, gosh! You'll never guess what!"

"What?" Zac asked lamely.

"Jerry had her baby!" Jocelyn squealed.

"WHAT?!" Zac screeched back.

"Yeah! Like 5 minutes ago! A nurse just came out and told us," Jocelyn giggled.

"But she wasn't due for another month," Zac argued.

"I know that. But babies come whenever they want. He's just a little underweight, is all," Jocelyn explained.

Zac turned to see that Taylor and Lia were staring at him, curiously. 'Go get Isaac,' he mouthed.

"Hey, Jocelyn, could you hold on a sec and tell this to Isaac?"

"Sure," Jocelyn said.

Isaac followed Taylor back into the living room. Zac held out the phone to him. Isaac took it. "Hello?" he asked.

"Hey, Isaac," came a familiar voice.

"Jocelyn?" he asked.

"Hi," she said. "Zac wanted me to tell you something."

"What?" Isaac asked, brow furrowed.

"Jerry just had her baby."

"WHAT?! WHEN?! How do YOU know?!" he said, rather loudly, into the phone.

"She had her baby. Just a few minutes ago. I'm here at the hospital," she explained. "And don't worry about the baby being early. He is just a little underweight. Nothing a few days in the hospital won't change."

Isaac found himself grinning. "Wow. How is she?"

"The doctors say she's tired. I can't go in to see her tonight," Jocelyn said. In a nasaly, mocking voice she said, "I'm not family...blah, blah, blah."

Isaac laughed. "That's great. Did she pick a name?"

"Last I heard she was torn between Joshua and Eric," Jocelyn said. There was a tap on her shoulder. "Oh, Ike, I'm sorry, but my 10 minutes are up. I'll call you tomorrow with all the details if Jerry hasn't already. Tell Zac I say bye. Bye."

"Bye," Ike replied. He turned and laughed. They were smiling at him. Zac had already broke the news to them. Then, walking back to his room, he said to himself, "Well I'll be darned..."
