"So," Mrs. Hanson asked after her husband returned to the living room, minus Taylor. "Who's the girl?"

"I don't know," he replied. "I'm as baffled as you are. All he would tell me was that she was completely oblivious to him, and that there was nothing he could do about it."

"What did you tell him?" she asked.

"I told him that if she couldn't see him for what he was - or if she couldn't see him at all - chances are he needs to move on."

"And then?"

"And then he said that his problem was that she saw him for all the wrong reasons," Mr. Hanson said, brow knitting. "Do you have any clue what he's talking about?"

Mrs. Hanson leaned back into the couch cushions. Even if her husband couldn't figure out this situation, she could. Mr. Hanson just chuckled at the expression on her face. "The all-knowing Diana's figured it out again."

"Yup," she she replied.

"Care to tell me what it is?"

"Taylor's fallen in love with his best friend," she murmured, smiling knowingly. Her husband just looked at her in shock.

"This sucks," Zac said.

"What sucks?" Isaac asked, looking up from the computer.

"I have two weeks until we leave for the tour, and two weeks to finish this poem. It's not fair!! I can't even get out of this assignment!!"

"Zac, you can rhyme anything," Ike said, rolling his eyes. "You're just procrastinating."

"I am not," he said. "And just because I can write lyrics to songs doesn't mean I can write a poem. Uh-uh. No way."

Isaac ignored him, and went back to the computer. Zac, seeing as he was not getting any pity from anyone in this room, stalked out of the room, annoyed.

Downstairs, he found Taylor sitting moodily in the den.

"Tay?"

"What?" came a grouchy voice.

"Can you help me with this poem?"

Taylor looked up at him from the love seat. "What? Did Skye bail on you, too?"

"Huh?"

"That seems to be her new past time. Ditching her friends," he grumbled.

"Tay, are you feeling okay?" Zac asked, bumfuzzled. I swear, that boy gets weirder and weirder with every passing nanosecond, he thought.

Just then, Taylor jumped up and screamed, "WHY DOES EVERYONE KEEP ASKING ME THAT?!?! IN CASE YOU'RE BLIND TOO I'M NOT 'OKAY'!!!! I'M NEVER GONNA BE 'OKAY'!!!! JUST STOP ASKING ME STUPID QUESTIONS!!!!"

He tore out of the room, eyes blurred with tears. Zac watched after him with a bit of bafflement. "Okaaay. Mission Annoy Taylor accomplished...I think..."
