For the pages use nice paper (maybe 2 colours alternated, fine or textured). Cut out a stack the same size as the front cover, sandwich between the front and back covers, put two holes through front to back with a needle and thread a silk ribbon through (or embroidery thread) and tie a bow at the front. Stick in your scrap pictures. Touch up with a gold pen. I saw this general idea in a magazine....
