A few months later our hero decided he would throw a banquet. His friends and family all joined him with his most honored guests, the Queen and her daughter, completing the party. After dinner, as everyone settled in for the usual conversations of the weather or the welfare of the peasants, our hero invited the princess to tour his castle. He showed her the ins and outs and the entire time she pretended to be interested in the things he showed her. He also was not interested in the things he showed her as much as he was in just talking with the princess. They ended up walking and talking for what seemed like minutes, but were soon shocked by the rising of the sun. The princess was so horrified at this discovery that she left immediately without hardly another word.
