RING OF FIRE

RING OF FIRE

~R**U*L*E*S~ Everyone hates them. But without them, no rpg would survive. So... unfortunately, this RPG as a lot of rules, so take your time reading them. It's worth it, trust me.

General

  • Obey and respect *Lizzy*, the owner.
  • No OoC fights. Especially none over some dispute between characters. It's all fiction, no need to get mad at each other.
  • This is an intermidiate RPG. Posts should be at least 3 lines long. And remember all grammer. No "Dude w@lkz up 2 gal saz hey b@bi wazzup lol, wanna meet me @ the be@ch well g2g, brb." That physically hurts me.
  • No running and complaining to me about how this other character did this to you, unless you think it is really wrong. You should be mature enough to work things out on your own.
  • No p*o*r*n. Whatsoever. If I catch anyone posting it or posting a link to it they will get the grand prize... a life-long ban and spamming of their email and/or website.
  • No cussing. We don't want to hear it. You may use minimal words like darn or crap, but no more.

    Stallions

  • Stallions may challenge for terras.
  • Stallions may challenge for: terras, mares, fillies.
  • Stallions may sneak mares or fillies.

    Mares

  • Mares may not challenge for anything but foals.
  • Mares do not own terras and they do not have loves. You may have a close friendship, but you must breed with the lead stallion of your terra.
  • You may not claim territories.
  • If stallions mistreat you, aggressive mares may try to stand up for themselves or be harsh right back.
  • You may challange for positions among your herd. This is quite encouraged.
  • You may try and escape from your herd on the 'Escaping board' if you like.
  • If a stallion tries to force breed you, you may try and prevent this and put up a fight.
  • You do come into heat/season.

    Breeding

  • Both long and short breeding are allowed, but DO NOT get too graphic.
  • Force breeding is allowed. It happens in real wild life.
  • In your first or last breeding posts, be sure to post the stats of both the stallion and the mare.
  • Within a few days, check the foaling board for your foal's stats and mare's condition.
  • Not all foals are born healthy. Some will die in birth or be sickly. However, this is not especially common.
  • Mares can act out the foaling if they choose.
  • The name of the foal is to be decided upon by it's parents.
  • Decide out of character who will play the foal.
  • When all is decided, post the foal's stats on the OOC board so I can add it to the member's list.
  • Abandoned foals generally don't live.

    Territories and Mobs

  • Only stallions may claim land.
  • If there are no open territories, stallions may challenge to achieve ownership.
  • Less aggressive or less dominant stallions may request to be a lesser steed in another's land.
  • Mobs are owned by stallions.
  • There are only ever one or two, considering how many horses there are that live among them.
  • Mobs may have lesser steeds.
  • The horses that dwell in these places are downright nasty. Some have been thrown out of their origional herds for misbehavior and such.
  • Mob stallions are generally the ones to be afraid of. They lurk around the Stealing and Breeding grounds to force breed or steal mares.
  • Lead stallions of both the Territories and Mobs must be active and keep their herds orderly.

    Stealing and Escaping

  • Only Evil horses may steal.
  • Stallions may try and steal mares from other herds.
  • If the lead stallion from whom the mare is being stolen notices, he may post and stop the steal.
  • If in three days the stallion does not notice, the mare is yours.
  • Riddles may be used in stealing posts, as long as they are not impossible.
  • If a mare is stolen from you, you must wait one week before trying to challenge or steal her back.
  • Sneak only one mare at a time.
  • Mares may try and escape from their herds.
  • If a mare has been stolen, she must wait one week before trying to escape.
  • Stallions have three days to put a stop to the escape. If he does not reply, you are free.
  • In the case of a steal or escape of a mare with a foal, the foal goes with her always.

    Battling

  • Battles are extremely encouraged in this game. They are judged strictly and are great for improving your RPing skills.
  • Absolutely no Powerplaying or Godplaying. Don't know what that means? figure it out before challenging.
  • Both stallions and mares can fight. Not foals.
  • The outcome chall be decided by a judge. There is no arguing with this descision. Don't like it? Challange again.

    Time

  • One real time month is one season in the RPG. Please, age your horse every four seasons.
  • Mare come into heat in autumn. All breeding must be done then.
  • Foals are born in spring.

    Sides

  • Good horses hardly ever start fights with evil horses.
  • When evil horses steal mares, they may do whatever they want with them. Ex: Force breed with them, starve them, beat them up (not kill, they may kick you, bite you etc.), or chase you and make you run and exhaust you.
  • Sometimes the god and evil herds will come together in battle.

Ok, that's it. Please remember that, as owner, *Lizzy* may break rules as she sees fit. She will add rules as often as she likes so check the Updates page often.
