GONDOR

Gondor is situated west of Mordor. It has access to the Bay of Belfalas through the great river of Anduin. To the north are the White Mountains and the realm of Rohan. Its capital is Minas Tirith, situated close to the edges of the White Mountains.
It was founded in 3320 of the Second Age by Elendil of the Numenoreans after the Downfall of Numenor. Gondor was ruled jointly by Isildur and Anarion but after all three had fallen in battles, Gondor's kingship fell to Anarion's son Meneldil. Their line continued until Earnur was lost in 2050 in the Third Age. Since then, Gondor had been ruled by the House of Stewards, until the King returned. In 3019 of the Third Age, Aragorn Elessar returned and taken up the crown.
ROHAN

Rohan is situated north of the White Mountains and of Gondor. Rohan consists of wide green lands and plains.
It was once the Gondorian province of Calenardhon until the Steward Cirion gave it to Eorl and the people in 2510 of the Third Age as a symbol of the friendship and alliance between the two nations. Rohan was always pitted in conflict against the Orcs that live in the White Mountains, the Dunlendings, wild men of the West and later Saruman in Orthanc.
