Joshua

Our

Sweet

Heavenly

Unforgettable

Angel

Joshua was our Angel on earth and now he is our Angel in Heaven watching over us all.
I want to share how Joshua came to be a part of our family, and a very important part of our lives. Forever to live in our hearts.
My husband and I was expecting a child that was due December 9,1984.Although I miscarriage in my fourth month.
Some months later we were told my friends Aunt was expecting and she was uncertain what she was going to do with the baby. We agreed we would adopt the baby. Unreal as it may seem he was born December 9,1984 same due date as the baby I lost. I know God found another way to bring me my sweet Joshua.
Joshua from day one was a special angel. He had a lot of health problems when he was born due to poor prenatal care by the natural mother. Although this only bonded me with him more. You could hardly tell when he was coming down sick because he just never complained.
I have two other children who are older who I gave birth to naturally. I can truthfully say I love all my children equally. The fact that Joshua was adopted didn't affect my love for him. In fact most of the time I forgot I didn't give birth to him.
I would give anyone the advice that was thinking about adoption that it is wonderful. For the minute you hold that child in your arm, that child becomes a part of you. As Josh and I always agreed family was about the love not about the blood.
I will talk more about Joshua and share pictures on the next page. Now I would like to tell you about the day Josh left his earthly home and went to Heaven.
Joshua had been excited for years about driving. I made him wait until he was 17 to get his license. I felt that was a more responsible age. He got his license July 3,2002.
He had went to pick up his friend they drove out to the mall ,on the way back stopped for ice cream, and then he took his friend home. From his friends he called and asked if his friend could come home with him and I said yes. He said I love you mom see you soon and hung up. That would be the last time I ever heard him say I love you again. The choice was made they would drive in separate vehicles back here.
The next call I received was from his friend , saying that Josh had been in an accident. He had lost control of his truck when attempting to pass. There are conflicting stories that were told how exactly this happened. All that don't seem to matter when the end results was Joshua never came home again. There was no alcohol or drugs involved, and Josh was wearing his seatbelt. They said he didn't suffer that he passed instantly on impact. We all miss him so very much and he is in our prayers and hearts forever.

I am making this web page in memory of Joshua for his 19th birthday. Happy Birthday Joshua, I love you.
