The Greater Philadelphia Tourism Marketing Corporations' campaign, "With Love, Philadelphia" was created to increase tourism in Philadelphia and its countryside. The organization is now sponsoring a contest encouraging all Philadelphia 5th grade students to be creative, by designing a historical brochure that will be used as a supplement to its current campaign. The winning brochure will be distributed throughout Philadelphia, as well as being included in mailings to prospective visitors. Historical events and sites in the Philadelphia and surrounding areas are viewed with great significance, why do you think this is so?
