Sick of OOC portrayals of Quatre as weak, innocent and angelic? We at the SDQB want to promote Quatre as the strong but sensitive guy he is. Similiarily we want to avoid the equally OOC portrayals of 'evil ZERO system Q'. It is possible to be strong, but still caring.
Without Wings, a Gundam Wing friendship archive, is dedicated to the radical idea that the characters of Gundam Wing can relate to each other as friends rather than sexual partners. Both the archive and the mailing list are also shounen-ai, shojo-ai and het friendly (emphasis on the friend).
The purpose of this Mailing List, which is a sibling list to Fringe Benefits, is to draw together the rather dispersed fan talent of those writers and artists who are drawn to explore the character of Trowa. We are open to many thoughtful interpretations of his character and romantic pairings, whether they be heterosexual, or yaoi. Our main goal is simply to celebrate and explore one of the more neglected pilots and give him his own 'home' here. All that is required is an affection for Trowa. We don't want to see him bastardised, marginalised, or gratuitously victimised.
