Haunts Of ITM Perlis Branch - Part 2

Continuation from ITM Perlis Branch 1(The "Kak Siti" Menace)......

Kak Siti didn't stop haunting the girls even when they move on as seniors. The senior hostels also suffer the same fate. She was constantly seen walking the corridors only to disappear in the shadows of the pillars.

The girls would also complain that sometimes they would dream of Kak Siti trying to reach out at them but most of them would claim that Kak Siti's face was not the face of anger or hatred but instead was the face of pity and sadness. Some would say that Kak Siti cried in their dreams. Some of the girls would wake up from this dream but Kak Siti would still remain standing or sitting at their desks, infront of them. The girls who encountered such experiences would either faint, scream their lungs out or some would turn around and went back to sleep.

Kak Siti would also like to play in the toilets. These apparitions in the toilets not only experienced by the girls but also the boys. The toilets were equipped with two sinks for washing our clothes. The area is narrow where should one student wash his/hers clothes, only one person can walk behind him/her to wash at the second sink. Some had experienced while washing clothes, they felt that some one would walk behind them to wash at the next sink but to turn and found nobody was beside nor behind them. Most of the students who had such feelings would swear that the person who walked behind them was a woman.

I, myself had 3 personal experiences with Kak Siti. The first one was when I was waiting my turn to use the W.C. There are only 4 at that particular washroom and each floor would have 2 washrooms. As I was standing infront of the door, I felt goosebumps all over but thought that was because of the morning chill (Perlis is very cold in the morning). But later, I noticed a figure with long hair and wearing white cloth walked into the washroom and walked infront of me and disappear through the door of the last W.C. The funny thing was that many people say that ghosts are transparent entity but what I saw that day was as solid as you and me yet it can walk through doors. The feeling to relief myself was relieved. I ran out from the washroom back to my room.

The second sighting was when my friend and I were coming back from a friend's room in another hostel. It was early in the morning at about 2am. We would have to go through a walkway with huge horrific looking trees. The path was narrow so, my friend walked infront while I was behind him. As we were walking and approaching the biggest tree along the path, again I saw the same figure that I saw in the toilet. This time she/it was sitting on a huge tree root but facing the other way. From behind, it was the same long hair and the same white cloth. I immediately increase my walking pace and overtook my friend. He grabbed me by the shoulder and ask me why was I in a hurry. I told him what I saw and he insisted that we went to have a look. I gathered enough courage to go back with him to have a second good look at Kak Siti. But to my friend's disappointment, it was not there anymore.

The final encounter was when 3 other friends and I went to play badminton. We started to play at about 10:30pm and when we finished playing, it was already almost 12:30pm. We were not supposed to use the complex until so late at night, so we hurried to pack our gears and hop onto 2 motorbikes and rode off. During the ride back to our hostel, we would have to take a sharp right corner. There was a signboard just before the corner, indicating the sharp turn. When we approached the signboard, I saw the same figure with all the works, sitting on the signboard but this time facing our way. All four of us saw the entity judging from the intense speed. Both of the bikes pressed full throttle even when taking the sharp bent. If the dispatch guys saw us that night, they would be extremely envious.

Students studying at night at the academic blocks would often see her walking along the corridors and also some would cross her path on the stairs. Students who experienced the encounters had never seen her face except for students who had dreamt of her. I pity the Diploma In Planting Industry Management students. Those guys were not given long breaks unlike students of other courses because they would have to work on the plantation. So, they were the ones left behind during the long semester breaks. These people are the ones who would have seen Kak Siti almost every night. May it be in the toilet, in their rooms, in mirrors, classroms and even in the plantation, regardless whether during the day or night. They sort of, have accepted her in their student life.

There were a lot of discomfort among students who felt disturbed by Kak Siti's presence hence, a report to the principal was made. The principal had seek the help of a well known Ustaz (who had a well known background in interaction with entities) to calm the campus. He had chased the entity out of the campus and constructed a spiritual fence bordering the campus. We have not heard of Kak Siti's name mentioned by any of the students ever since until the day I graduated.

There are some other spine chillers that happened in the Campus as well as stories told to me when I was studying in Perlis but I will tell then in another e-mail. These stories have nothing to do with Kak Siti and therefore, I shall not include them in this series. Sorry there are only two parts, no trilogy! Hope you enjoyed them.

Special thanks for your contribution!
