Haunts Of ITM Perlis Branch - Part 1

Thanks for posting my first story in your site.

This is my second story for your site. I hope everybody enjoyed my first story. This would be a rather long story but bear with me, all the additional information is necessary to give a better picture.

After finishing my SPM, I continued with Diploma studies at ITM and was sent to Perlis Branch. Some people would dread if they were sent there. But, I liked it. This campus brought me closer to my relatives in Changlun and also this was the place where I met my wife (a little bit of romance touch there!).

There were a lot of paranormal activities in the Campus but most the stories relate to one particular "entity". The students during my time used to call it/her "Kak Siti". It was believed that Kak Siti was amongst the pioneer students at the Perlis Branch.

The tale has it that one day, Kak Siti was having a date with her boyfriend in one of the classrooms before they were approached by the Security Personnel for indecent meeting. The security personnel dismissed the boyfriend but not before retaining his student ID Card. But, Kak Siti was detained for "further questioning". To her horror, the detention was just an excuse for the security personnel to get her to the empty Security Post where she was raped. A whole lot of commotion happened afterwards and finally it was ruled that the Security Personnel was to be given the sack and Kak Siti was still allowed to continue her education. As for Kak Siti, the event is the beginning of a string of bad lucks. Second to happened was the boyfriend left her, then the ex-security threatened her for suing him, then her friends and lecturers have been avoiding her and finally she would be a mother. All of these were too hard for a 20 year old to

swallow. One fateful evening, a group of students went jogging and saw Kak Siti's lifeless body at a bottom of a tree. Apparently, the police concluded that she had taken her life by jumping from the water tank tower (reservoir) and broke her neck upon impact. That was the end of her misery but the beginning to the rest.

From that moment, her restless spirit roams the air of Perlis Campus. But her favourite haunts were the freshies' house blocks. Nevertheless, she wasn't aware of the "No Girls Allowed at the Boys' Hostels" regulation because she was also seen roaming the boys' hostels. Kak Siti was not a destructive entity, she merely appear and disappear and occasionally expressed herself verbally.

My wife told me stories of what had happened in the Freshies' Houses when she was a freshie. For information sake, there are about 20 houses for freshies and each house would accommodate 8-10 students.

The hauntings mostly concentrated at her house. There was this time when one of her house-mates decided to wash clothes but the night before she soaked all her clothes but in the morning, she found out that all her clothes that she intended to wash were already hung. She asked all her house-mates who helped her wash her clothes but none admitted. A house-mate claimed had seen her washing her clothes that night except that she has longer hair and wore white cloth instead of the coloured "Kaftan"(mind my spelling) that she wore in the morning. When called upon, she didn't acknowledge. A helpful ghost! We thought.

Then, the 4 girls of one room in the same house were chit-chatting with each other when suddenly during the middle of their conversation, everybody noticed a woman with long hair wearing white cloth walked from their dresser then across the room before disappearing through the wall. The girls were overwhelmed with silence before all shrieked and ran to the adjacent room.

All the girls claimed that they had experienced "touching" and "whisperings" for more than once and when they turn around from where they were facing, to find that there was no one. The cat that they all adopted kept on showing uneasiness when it was in the house and kept on staring at a spot whilst in a responsive position as though it was spooked by something.

I'll continue in the next e-mail. Thanks for reading.
